Mi nombre es Rachel Hawkinson y soy la cara detrás de T.Hawk Studio. Nací y crecí en Wyoming y crecí pasando la mayor parte de mi tiempo con mi padre en el garaje. Me encanta la naturaleza porque hay una textura infinita, colores vibrantes, formas interesantes y personas con historias únicas a nuestro alrededor a las que recurrir para inspirarnos. No solo estoy haciendo joyas, estoy haciendo arte. Debido a esto, es casi imposible hacer dos piezas que sean exactamente iguales, y pido un poco de licencia creativa para permitir las mejores soluciones para fabricar una pieza.
Mi cuaderno de bocetos es mi mejor amigo, cuando encuentro inspiración, corro con él. Mi cuaderno de bocetos me permite resolver muchos problemas y encontrar soluciones en mi mente para cualquier pieza en particular. También me permite una forma de mostrar a los clientes las diferentes soluciones que se me ocurren.

My name is Rachel Hawkinson and I am the face behind T.Hawk Studio. I was born and raised in Wyoming and grew up spending most of my time with my dad in the garage. He was a welder, and I watched him turn nothing into something all of the time. Because of him, I discovered at a very young age that I enjoyed making things and keeping my mind busy. Okay, I like the power tools too!
Growing up in the great wide open spaces of Wyoming gave me a great appreciation for music, books, nature and life in general.
I have an enthusiasm to explore the world around me. I love nature because there is infinite texture, vibrant color, interesting shapes, and people with unique stories all around us to draw on for inspiration. There are endless opportunities to learn, grow, and walk a mile in another's shoes.
When it comes to metal smithing, I use high quality materials and I draw on an insatiable desire to know more. I'm constantly learning new techniques, and enjoy challenging projects, custom orders and repairs. I aim to fabricate the highest quality pieces I am capable of.
I am not only making jewelry I am making art. Because of this, it is nearly impossible to make two pieces that are exactly the same, and I ask for a bit of creative license to allow for the best solutions to fabricating a piece.
My sketchbook is my best friend, when I find inspiration, I run with it. My sketchbook allows me to solve many problems, and find solutions in my mind for any particular piece. It also allows me a way to show customers different solutions I come up with.
When doing a custom order, I feel it is extremely important to stay in contact with the customer to discuss options with fabrication, refining, and finishing. Also staying in contact with you helps me make sure I get your piece done by your deadline.
All in all, I am a one woman show. I enjoy problem solving and complex fabrication techniques. This involves constant learning of new techniques, and processes. I respect my work, my customers, and myself. I aim to make you something truly special with a story behind it, YOUR STORY!
