The TJS Leatherwork LLC Story
Tyler here; founder and creator here at TJS Leatherwork LLC.
Since a young age, I have always enjoyed working with my hands; whether I was building Legos, nailing together tree-houses, working on my truck, renovating our home, etc. In Fall 2018 I stumbled into leather working - as a creative outlet and hobby - and haven't looked back. I've always been enticed and curious about about the EDC and leather goods communities and thought 'what better way to learn more about it than to dive in'. To make a long story short; I'm glad I took the plunge.
In the past - when looking for leather items to carry - I could rarely find items that were both high quality and affordable. I'd either find a design I really liked but wouldn't hold up over time, or would find something of great quality (and expense) but the design wasn't ideal for my uses. To solve these issues, I outfitted a little workshop in our garage and filled it with different types of leathers, threads, and tools to create items I would (and do) enjoy carrying; and hope you will enjoy carrying them too.
When not tinkering around in the workshop, I crave time spent outdoors with my aspiring-physician wife and our two Australian Shepherds Odie and Abbie - enjoying all that Colorado's hidden treasures have to offer. We can be found (or not) hiking, biking, skiing, hammock camping, off-roading, and snowshoeing with our very furry family.
Thanks so much for supporting my small, family-oriented shop! We appreciate your support and hope you enjoy what we have to offer you. If you are curious about an item (or a custom creation) but are hesitant to take the plunge, please never hesitate to reach out and ask questions.
