5 out of 5 starsThis is one of the most impressive patterns I’ve ever used! I would give it 10/5 stars if I could. The detailed instructions for adjusting for different chest/waist/hip/girth measurements are the best I’ve ever seen. The pattern adjusts for girth/height in TWO places! I’m only just getting comfortable sewing stretch fabric and didn’t get my serger out for this because I figured I’d need at least 3 mock ups before getting my daughters leotard ready for comic con. Even seeing this at 4am it fit almost perfectly on the first try. She has a really long torso and I really don’t so adding length feels very odd. I just needed to not add extra width to the shoulder when I made it longer- that’s the only bit of the instructions that could use more clarity. Then it would have been perfection. 100% will buy from again.

About TadahPatterns
The journey from idea to Tadah pattern
I am been drafting patterns for over 10 years now, initially I used them to make and sell my unique clothing under my handmade brand (Fresh Designs) but I found that I was receiving more and more requests for the patterns. After my first pattern (the Butterfly Tea Dress) was a huge success I decided to move my business in a different direction.. Tadah Patterns was born!
Each Tadah Pattern begins in my head - it usually swims around there for a month or so before making its way out on to paper. I sketch, I drape, I calculate... I finally come up with a sample! Every design is tested and tested and retested until I am happy with the fit. I then send my base sizes away for professional pattern grading and begin on the tutorial - probably the most time consuming part!!
Each Tadah Pattern has a huge number of clear, colour diagrams to help guide you through the instructions. I have had such an overwhelmingly positive response to my diagrams that it makes the many hours work I put in to them worth it :)
