About Tag...You're It Jewelry
Tag...You're It Jewelry (TYI) is a true family affair, founded in 2009 by sisters Kelsey and Brodi.
In the summer of 2009, I had a 4 year old son, and a daughter on the way, and was searching for a necklace with my kids' names on it. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, and after helping me look, my sister (Kelsey) came up with the idea of making one ourselves. The more we looked into it and did the research, the more excited we got about hand stamped jewelry, and decided to just jump in with both feet and start our own business. Then we realized that there was quite a learning curve to stamped jewelry :)... so after lots of practice, we launched our online business. It wasn't long before we realized we needed help. We brought in our dad to help with the metal smithing and general production, and our mom to babysit the kids while we work.
We work with a variety of metals, specializing in sterling silver. We believe that your special keepsakes should be made of high quality materials. We design jewelry based on what we, ourselves, would actually wear, and put the same care into each order that we put into creating our own, personal jewelry.

Custom and personalized orders
Your order will be created using the same spelling that you request, so please double check your notes before submitting the order. Orders will be stamped in the same font and letter case (upper or lower) as shown in the listing photo, unless you've discussed otherwise with us.
Returns or exchanges on personalized orders are not accepted.
If you are unsure of your ring size, please order a ring sizer from us first to ensure a correct fit. Rings cannot be remade due to an incorrect size.
Our turnaround time is 2 weeks before shipment. Shipping upgrades are available at checkout, and are also sold separately in our shop if you missed it at checkout. Due to our volume of orders, we cannot rush an item unless an upgrade is purchased.
Most of our items require that you check a box agreeing to our turnaround time, or saying that you will upgrade. Checking the upgrade box alone DOES NOT upgrade your order. You need to also select either the Priority or Express upgrade when you check out. Doing both of these things will ensure that your order ships quickly.
Copper, brass, and bronze will oxidize. That's just the nature of the metals. If you let them go and don't polish them, they'll get a really cool patina (like an old penny). If you'd rather keep them bright and shiny, that's fine too - our polishing cloths are great for that.
Sterling silver will oxidize as well (faster in humid conditions and with the use of lotions, hairsprays, etc). The wonderful thing about sterling, unlike cheaper 'silver colored' metals, is that it's so easy to clean it up. Just wipe it with a polishing pad or cloth, and/or use fine steel wool to both rebrush and shine your jewelry.
