Announcement    Welcome to my shop, Talismanyia. The word "talismaniya" is one I made up to reflect my offerings as well as my artistic style. "Talisman" loosely means treasures or charms, and the "ya is to you, so I create my talismans for you! My shop, like many I have visited, is a work in progress. ...

Currently I am in my "show season" so all of my most desirable pieces of jewelry are packed away ready for the next show. At the end of the season, just before Christmas 2015, I'll be gradually adding items back into my shop here, some that end up leftover from shows and some that will be brand new creations! So, check back often as you never know when something that could be just right for you will appear!

-------------------------------
I am still new to Etsy since I've been "offline" for several months, and even tho I have a lot of items to sell, I haven't a lot of pictures or organization at the moment. To get to the point... I recently discovered jewelry-making and while it started out as part of a therapeutic activity, it has taken up all of my free time - I can't seem to stop making jewelry! Now that I have more pieces than I have room(s) for, I am going to have to part with some of it (lots of it, actually!). So, here I am. My designs cover a vast range of themes: vintage, Native American, retro, funky, classic and some "talismaniya" original style! I love to search thrift shops and button sales for pieces to use in my creations. Each pair of earrings, each bracelet, each necklace is completely unique and while I could probably reproduce a piece, it would most likely contain some unique element that makes it an original. My favorite style at the moment is vintage/retro - I love the antique brasses and sterlings, the filigree, the feminine and nostalgic feeling these pieces carry. So, as I am in the process of deciding what to photograph and how to make it all look great and tempting, please come back soon!
