Tallulah Emporium presents antique and vintage jewelry, handmade jewelry, vintage clothing, accessories and ephemera.

Accepted payment methods

Paypal is preferred, other forms of payment accepted only after seller's approval. Items will be shipped after payment has been received and cleared.
Items will usually be shipped within 2 days of payment received and cleared.

I aim to keep the shipping costs as true to the postal charges as possible, with minimal charge for packaging materials and protective boxes. Packaging and handling is included in the shipping price, as well as shipping insurance for more valuable items. Other charges, such as paypal charges, may also be incorporated into the shipping charge.

Priority or express postage can be arranged on request, at cost quoted by the post office.

Combined shipping is available, and will be based on the total weight and method of shipping, such as insured shipping.

Most parcels will be sent via Australia Post:

International shipping to the US generally starts at $12 even for small, light items, so combined postage up to a certain weight may mean one shipping cost. The slightly cheaper option of sea-mail is not recommended as items can take months to arrive. The Australia post website will give you an indication of their steep charges by weight increments.

Any additional customs costs or import duties will need to be paid by the purchaser. It is the purchaser's responsibility to investigate any of these charges prior to purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
If items received are defective or not as described - where photographs of items also form a significant part of the description - they may be returned for a full refund within 14 days but please contact me first.

Buyer's remorse is not accepted as reason for returning items.
Additional policies and FAQs
Items are described in detail, and I will photograph items in bright light to show various angles, surfaces and scale of smaller items, particularly how jewelry looks when worn. I aim to include details on even minor imperfections or surface irregularities, as I am aware how disappointing it can be when an item arrives and it is not in flawless condition, even if it is vintage or antique. Please contact me if you have any further questions about items.

If you have zero or negative feedback, please contact me prior to purchase; I reserve the right to cancel transactions for zero feedback purchasers.

Negotiations on price will be at my discretion, but please keep on mind that price is based on similar items listed on the web, the quality of the item including any listed defects, and the rarity or desirability of the item. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the listing please do not purchase! I want you to be 100% happy with the item, price & service.

This is a pet-full household, and items may have been in a smoking environment in their history: please take this into consideration if this is of concern to you. Clothing may be laundered or dry-cleaned prior to dispatch, or advised that specialist cleaning will be left to the purchaser, particularly for more valuable, delicate or decorative vintage items.
