Announcement   Thank you so much for visiting my shop, featuring craft items inspired by a variety of Japanese handicraft traditions, including temari, chiyogami, and shibori.

The city where I lived in Japan, Sendai, is most famous for its Tanabata celebrations. During this festival, people write wishes on strips of paper and hang them from decorative bamboo poles. One traditional wish for girls to make during Tanabata is for better sewing and craftsmanship skills. The items I offer you here in my shop are the fruits of my own labors to ever increase my skills. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did making them!

Please feel free to contact me with questions or requests!

This is one of my favorite temari balls sold on etsy! The craftsmanship is excellent, the seller was responsive to questions, and it arrived safely in good packing. Thank you!

Payment
PayPal is the most preferred method, as it is the fastest method of payment and allows shipment of your items right away. I can also accept money orders, but please note that I cannot ship your items until the money order arrives.

If I have not received payment for your order within one week and have not heard from you to make arrangements for the delay, the order will be canceled and I will relist your item.
Shipping
I endeavor to get all packages shipped within two business days of receipt of payment. (Exceptions must be made for post office holidays, of course.) I will let you know when your order has been sent!

All US orders are sent by USPS first class mail or priority mail, depending on the size of the order.

International orders are sent by air mail, and may take as long as three weeks to arrive in some areas. Any applicable duties, taxes, and fees levied at time of import are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware of your country's import policies and restrictions before placing an order.

Shipping prices are set to cover the cost of shipping, packaging materials, and a portion of the Etsy and PayPal fees incurred with each transaction.

In order to cut down on paper waste I do not include packing slips or receipts unless requested.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please read the descriptions carefully, as I do not accept returns unless there was a mistake on my part. I strive to make all photos as color-accurate as possible, but some variation can occur depending on your monitor. Exchanges can be made within 7 days of receiving your order. Shipping is non-refundable and buyers are responsible for all shipping costs. All items are carefully packaged to prevent breakage. However, if an item reaches you in a damaged condition, I will gladly exchange it for a replacement for a similar item of equal value. I do require photographs of the damaged item. The buyer is responsible for re-shipping a new item.
