Hello! I hope you enjoy my shop! I make everything in my home, which is a pet-free, smoke-free, kid friendly atmosphere. I try whenever possible to recycle packaging/shipping materials that are in clean, sturdy condition and encourage others to do the same.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
Paypal is preferred but I will be able to soon accept credit cards and Etsy gift cards though Etsy payments.
Shipping
I currently ship once or twice per week, usually on weekdays, if you need expedited shipping, please convo me first so we can work out the details before you make a purchase.

I do ship internationally, but shipping costs vary from country to country. It would take a very long time for me to post every location I can ship to and the corresponding exact shipping charges, so please message me with the country you would like your items delivered to and I will give you the cost.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will gladly refund purchase price, minus shipping, within 14 days from shipment for domestic orders and 28 days for international orders. Please note, some items are marked "as-is" and I will not be able to refund payment for those items.

Because I cannot ensure shipping times once cake postcards leave my hands, I cannot give a refund for cake postcards that do not reach their destination by buyers' desired date. However, I am dedicated to trying as hard as I can to send cakes out early enough to make it to their destination in time. Please check each listing for specific handling times.

I do not include insurance in my shipping costs, to keep costs down for the buyers. If you buyers would like insurance, I will gladly add that charge to shipping costs. I believe the current rate is $1.80 for up to up to $50 of coverage, a little more for more expensive packaged.
Additional policies and FAQs
I opened an Etsy account with the username 'myrcury', which sell my excess supplies, but use mostly as a buying account. I started TangBaby in July of 2008, with just one listing for Cake Mail (the ORIGINAL fake cake postcard ).. In Janurary of the next year, my shop took off and now I have enough selling momentum to continue exploring and listing the materials and concepts I love. The birth of our third child has slowed that momentum a bit, but the more I play with the kids, the more my imagination aspires to create. I am also working on another project that will have listings under the username "tarpaperhouse," but that is early in the makings, so that shop is dormant at the moment.
