5 out of 5 starsThis was a custom order, and my expectations were not only met, but well exceeded. Kasey is a brilliant artist, and has been extremely pleasant to interact with. It is obvious that there is a beautiful soul behind this art.

Tanglewood Thicket Creations
Tanglewood Thicket Creations was established in 2000, but
I starting sculpting and working with different types of clay when I was 10 years old. There was no name for what I did...but found myself getting more involved on the side of going to school and working by taking orders for anything from Character style figures, to light-switch plates for restaurants.
In 2000 was introduced to Ebay where I sold most of my creations aside from Markets and craft fairs. My husband and I came up with the name Tanglewood Thicket creations over dinner one night. Then, sold enough of my work to pay for myself to go to Design school where I became and Interior Designer. Once I my own firm, Tanglewood was put on hold. It was when I have my first Child, my daughter Bailey that I found myself less and less at my studio and at home with my daughter and with post-partum depression or a bad long lasting case of the baby blues. I decided to pick up my sculpting tools instead of nap to help with stress by means of creating. One day, Online, while looking to see where the market was at for such things like what I made, I kept coming across felted balls. They were everywhere! I had never seen them and wanted to know what they were all about. I watched a 1 minute You Tube video with someone poking a ball. My first thought was, I want to poke and stab something! Ha! So I headed down to the yarn shop. Picked up one needle and a few braids of merino. That night I poked for hours until I had a small little goblin...The rest is history. 4 years later and hundreds of my creatures are scattered over the globe. To be continued!

Shop policies
I strive to make each piece with the best workmanship I can offer. I am constantly seeking new materials and ways to bring my concepts to life.
My sculpted fairies are usually adorned with recycled items I have managed to scavenge in my travels. I love finding ways to use old and found items in my pieces leaving nothing left unused.
Tanglewood Thicket is the Original Designer and Creator of These Dragons, Goblins and other Fantasy Creatures. If I have used another artist creations like the Jim Henson Fiery for example I will always give credit.
If you didn't find a Creature like this in this shop, then it's not an Original Concept or Creation from Tanglewood Thicket
