Ho fondato Tangledweb Creations nel 2014, dopo essere diventata insegnante certificata Zentangle (CZT), con l'intento di progettare e creare prodotti che rendessero l'arte consapevole più accessibile a tutti i livelli e a tutte le abilità. Il mio obiettivo è sempre stato quello di supportare un'ampia gamma di creativi, dai bambini che scoprono l'arte per la prima volta, agli adulti, compresi coloro che hanno difficoltà di manualità, che possono trarre beneficio da strumenti e approcci adattati.

Da allora, ho ideato una gamma di prodotti a supporto di Zentangle, mandala, arte dei nodi celtici, journaling, ATC e pratiche artistiche consapevoli, inclusi strumenti e risorse che rendono il disegno creativo più accessibile, piacevole e adattabile a diverse esigenze.

Alcuni di questi progetti sono i primi nel loro genere, creati per supportare una varietà di esperienze creative, che si tratti di aiutare le persone ad avviare il loro percorso artistico, di offrire opzioni portatili per i viaggi o di fornire soluzioni pratiche per l'esposizione, la conservazione e l'organizzazione. Creo anche progetti in formato PDF scaricabili, pensati per una creatività flessibile e al proprio ritmo.

Oltre alla progettazione di prodotti, ho scritto diversi libri, collaborato con numerose pubblicazioni e visto i miei lavori pubblicati su riviste. Sono anche apparsa in programmi televisivi di artigianato in diretta, condividendo tecniche creative e dimostrando pratiche artistiche consapevoli a un pubblico più ampio.

Alla base di tutto ciò che creo c'è una semplice convinzione: che la creatività debba essere accessibile, rilassante e gratificante per tutti, indipendentemente dal livello di esperienza. Il mio lavoro affonda le sue radici in pratiche di disegno consapevole che favoriscono la concentrazione, il rilassamento e l'espressione di sé attraverso forme artistiche semplici e strutturate.

Tangledweb Creations continua a crescere come spazio in cui creatività e benessere si incontrano, offrendo strumenti, ispirazione e guida a chiunque desideri rallentare e riscoprire la gioia del creare.

I set up Tangledweb Creations in 2014 after becoming a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), with the intention of designing and creating products that make mindful art more accessible for all levels and abilities. My goal has always been to support a wide range of creatives — from children discovering art for the first time, to adults, including those with dexterity challenges, who benefit from adapted tools and approaches.

Since then, I have designed a range of products to support Zentangle, mandala, Celtic knot art, journalling, ATC’s and mindful art practices, including tools and resources that make creative drawing more accessible, enjoyable and adaptable for different needs.

Some of these designs are the first of their kind, created to support a variety of creative experiences — whether that’s helping people begin their artistic journey, offering portable options for travel, or providing practical solutions for display, storage and organisation. I also create downloadable PDF projects designed for flexible, at-your-own-pace creativity.

Alongside product design, I have written several books, contributed to a number of publications, and had my work featured in magazines. I have also appeared on live television craft shows, sharing creative techniques and demonstrating mindful art practices to a wider audience.

At the heart of everything I create is a simple belief: that creativity should feel accessible, calming and rewarding for everyone, regardless of experience level. My work is rooted in mindful drawing practices that encourage focus, relaxation and self-expression through simple, structured art forms.

Tangledweb Creations continues to grow as a space where creativity and wellbeing meet, offering tools, inspiration and guidance for anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with the joy of making.
