We Build Custom, Hand Assembled "Seiko Mod" Watches with High Quality Parts Sourced from Around the Globe
Hi, thanks for stopping by, here is shortened version of getting from not wearing a watch in 25 years to building them. I am a Business Director, Electronic Tech, Marine Mechanic, Power Sports Enthusiast, Electrician, Woodworker, Compulsive Hobbyist, etc. As a complete covert operation, I ordered Watchmaking tools, timegrapher and parts - Case(s), Crystals, Movements, Dials, Hands, Bracelets, Straps, and even tiny little logos. It took about 3 hours to complete the first watch, an Omega Seamaster Homage. I also recorded the build and created a 2-minute short. Reveling the short vid to my wife @ dinner one evening, confused @ first, then she realized the hands in the video were mine! "Wow you built this? Let me see it!" Since then, I have built a few a month. Some are for me and via acquaintances or word of mouth the rest have been commissioned for gifts such as retirement or marking a special occasion. So far, all our watch builds have used the highly reliable Seiko NH family of movements NH34 GMT, NH35, NH36, NH38, etc. Most watch builds have been Men’s Diver style Homages of Breitling SuperOcean, Omega Seamaster, Rolex Submariner, Datejust, Yachtmaster, Seiko SKX to name a few. During our Etsy infancy we will start with a few stock builds and as we grow, open to personalized component selections, laser engraving, etc. Please note: Every Watch I build will have my name on it, I do not want any illusion we are creating a fake. While Homage (ample respect and honor) may seem like gray area, I wish to compliment the original brand with our unique touch.
