This is a lovely scarf. It is not too thick, but definitely will be warm. I purchased it for my seven year old granddaughter to go with a dark blue velvet dress which she will wear to her first classical music concert. The dress is long sleeved so we needed a shawl or wool scarf to keep warm and add a finishing touch. The sequins, which are part of the yarn, are perfect; they just give a hint of silver without overpowering the blue. Since this is for a child, I searched for a scarf that was not too long; this was perfect at 60" long, but would be perfect for me as well. The scarf arrived in just a few days. I would definitely order from this shop again.
