I love this cat nutcracker! Two of my favorites since I was a little girl, including all of my kitties being the same tabby cats as this kitty. I wish I had the original, but the print is excellent. This will definitely not be my last purchase. Highly recommend this shop.

My home studio where I paint, print, package, and play with my fur babies.
My favorite outdoor space is the cottage garden I planted from seed.
Dominic and Merlin have been my muses from the beginning.
Colorpoint twins, Sans and Papyrus, are our newest members.
Literary cats providing endless inspiration.

I See Cat People....

Everywhere I go, I find inspiration for my paintings.... digging through the classics in the second-hand bookstore, discovering a new BBC mini-series, planting flowers in my cottage garden, and meeting all the other crazy cat people who are drawn to my art.

I wanted to be a cat when I grew up, but as that wasn't possible, I became a cat artist instead. I see the world populated by cats who dress and act like people, and I plan to paint each and every character that I meet.

I love Etsy because it gives me the opportunity to connect with cat people all over the world, inspiring me to stretch my crafty wings, and focus on personal touches. Everything that I sell in my little shop was created by my hands, and packaged just for you. :)

Tara Fly spends her time painting portraits of cats wearing clothes, hunting for treasures in 2nd-hand bookshops, watching BBC costume dramas, growing weeds and wildflowers in her cottage garden, and baking cat hair into pumpkin pies.
Dominic (aka Mr Darcy)

Co-Founder, Lap Supervisor

Dominic works closely alongside TaraFly, adding authenticity to every piece by lending a few cat hairs onto the wet canvas. He oversees each project, giving inspiration and advice, and will occasionally get his paws wet with joint collaborations.
Merlin

Lap Assistant, Model

Merlin assists when TaraFly is working under pressure; he is a patient listener and avid cuddle-bug. He provides invaluable emotional support and encouragement, purr-forming as therapist and cheerleader!
Sans

Production Assistant, Model

Sans is a polydactyl kitty, and his extra toes enable him to accomplish studio tasks with quick precision. He can usually be found at Dominic's side, assisting him in cat hair quality control inspections. He enjoys modeling for publicity.
Papyrus

Customer Service, FR Manager

Sans' twin, Papyrus, is also a polydactyl cat whose opposable thumbs come in handy for replying to customer e-mails. Papyrus is also the head of our FR (feline relations) dept.
