Announcement   Happy 2017 New Year! Welcome to the new products for TaraSFibers! This year will mark a renewal of my shop and a broadening of the products in my shop. Look for the colorful handspun yarn formed and dyed through my hands and also for some new knit looks I've designed and/or knit! I also will be working on some small wallet sized folds that will hold all those stitch markers, buttons, needles, and pins that always seem to get lost! I will be publishing some ideas on color - as I am mainly a fine artist and work on fiber for fun - I will be working to share some of my color combination knowledge with you (especially involving yarn).

About

Yarn, Spinning,and Knitting - We Can't Stop!

My shop started at the beginning of 2011 as I started to spin and dye much more fiber than I could use. And I wanted to give others the joy of working with all I hand spin. I'm passionate about preparing my fiber from raw to finished project as much as possible. I'm also passionate about color - to be wearable in large sections and coming together perfectly. As a painter and artist color is my tool and needs to express my emotions for your enjoyment!

I spin on an electric spinner and a drop spindle when I'm travelling. I use mostly natural dyes with mordants, acid dyes, and some fiber reactive dyes in my dyeing processes.

Happy browsing and shopping!

I am a person that loves to have my hands in many projects at one time. However, I am starting to focus my attention in my art to fiber and painting. I spin, dye fiber, and knit and enjoy sharing my art with others.
