It came quickly considering it was handcrafted and I'm so in love with it! I use it to make lists and will now be bringing it everywhere with me.

This is an awesome journal cover but most impressive was Grant's customer service. I placed this order while he was traveling and he continued to keep communication with me even while in Europe. He then shipped my item right when he said he would. Exceptional service and sincerely appreciated. The cover is beautiful leather and simply perfect for my needs. I will be ordering more from him for certain. Thank you so much Grant!

About

Always Learning, Always Growing

Welcome to the Tarjick Leather Co. and please allow me the chance to connect a story to every product I make. My name is Grant Tarjick and my wife and I live in Asheville, North Carolina where all Tarjick products are handmade from start to finish using only my two hands.

I am a native Texan and my wife grew up in Ohio. We met on a one year service trip that travelled through 13 different countries around the world before returning home. After we married we moved to Asheville, NC for the beautiful mountain ranges and endless amounts of outdoor discoveries. Choosing an occupation was difficult for me after experiencing so many new cultures. So to pass time from job hunting I made coptic stitched recycled book journals, and after a few months a creative door I never knew existed opened.

I began the company using as many recycled materials as possible. It brings me life to discover a new purpose for unwanted items. The amounts of waste our culture creates everyday is incredibly shaming. But it didn't take long to see that using recycled materials might only be a quick fix to a grand societal problem.

After 3 years of production, I decided to completely change the business's focus. Instead of using old materials just for the sake of giving them new purpose, I decided to make products that never needed a chance to be "something else." Items that lasted a lifetime. So now, Tarjick Co. creates beautiful, practical, durable items that aren't going to need replacement. By not utilizing modern machines, I eliminate the flaws quickly made, cheap-material products have and know each items true worth at completion.

The Tarjick Brand was designed to reflect the company's main focuses. Mountains are magnificently beautiful and lasting. Their strength and wander inspire every new design. The line under the mountains represents a river which are always moving and can lead to unknown destinations. I want products to inspire adventures and motivate everyone to discover new things everyday.
