Etsy Was Right For Me....

I was/am an ebay seller for many, many years. A little of this, a little of that. But what I really had a love and feel for was vintage items. And ebay was just too large and cumbersome for that field. I felt lost in the volume there. But Etsy is perfect! The lovely 80s dress, that funky 70s sweater, that very cool color block pair of 80s shoes - they tend to stand out more over here on Etsy and I really appreciate it.

Also, I do try my hand at a few crafts and Etsy allows me a place to sell extra crafting supplies. Bonus!

Please feel free, if a price seems too high, to convo me with an offer. I'm not only a nice lady but also a fair one and I am always open to negotiation. Also, I am open to shipping internationally on most items, even if that is not mentioned in the ad.

When not thrifting for Etsy treasures, I wrangle two teen boys and one tall husband. I also sail on boats, watch movies, do some photography, surf the net and read. And drink tea. Naps are nice, too.

Sadly, on August 30, 2013 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had an excellent radiologist who spotted a very tiny tumor on a mammogram and, with the help of my Ob/Gyn, got me in the next day for a biopsy. The test results were what we feared. I quickly had surgery with an outstanding surgeon and have recovered well, and, in December, finished my radiation therapy. All proceeds from my sales go toward paying the mountain of medical bills that seem to continue to keep arriving in a steady flow. Thank goodness for such great insurance, but 10% copay of breast cancer is still a sizable amount of money. I thank you, in advance, for any and all purchases. It all really helps. Naturally, we didn't plan ahead (budget) for this surprise and any extra I get from my etsy sales really, really helps.

So, thanks. A lot.

Fond Regards,

I've always loved antiques, mostly because my grandmother's house was full of them. Circa the early 1900s, nothing was "new." I especially love old books. Being a child of the 80s, I relate strongly with all that is of that era.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Please contact me within 3 days and payment must be made within 10 days or I reserve the option to relist item. International bids are welcome if buyer uses PayPal for payment method in US dollars. Also, naturally, international shipping is higher that what is quoted in ad.

Payment methods accepted: Paypal. NO personal checks.
I ship on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (if I'm in town). I try very hard to be fair on shipping prices (I don't like to be overcharged any more than you do when I buy online...).

Insurance is extra and encouraged.
Refunds and Exchanges
I strive to be a great seller (at ebay I've been selling for 11 years and have over 3000 positives, at a 100% positive rating). But I'm human and sometimes I goof. PLEASE contact me before leaving neutral or negative feedback. I fix what I can because I much prefer a happy buyer than a happy bank account!

Standardly, there will be no refunds unless the item is misrepresented. Refunds will not be accepted if the item does not fit. I include measurements in my ads for all clothing, including shoes. Any request for a refund must be received within 3 days of you receiving the item. You will not receive a refund until the item is returned in the same condition as received. Shipping costs will not be refunded regardless of situation. I apologize for this policy but lately have had requests for refund on items that "don't quite fit" when the measurements are clearly present in the ad.
