Announcement   Tattooed Sister's has relocated to the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. We have made way for new inventory so give us a little time to get settled here and we'll have some new items available online. Meanwhile, you can still find us on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, and at the Brownsville Antique Centre in Trevose, Pennsylvania. It's a wonderful old space in a neat little town - come on by - browsing is free there too!

Old things are filled with stories and memories and the energy of things gone by.
Tattooed Sister's is all about finding great homes for great vintage items, and it's so gratifying to see someone find 'just the right thing' and know these items will be appreciated. Don't see just what you're looking for? We have many items that have not yet been posted here so please ask!

Why buy new when you can buy tried and true? Old things are still here and still useful and beautiful because they were made to last. Have an antique lover in your circle? Tattooed Sister's has a great collection of genuine antique and vintage items. And when you shop, you help others - a portion of your purchase is donated to Doctors Without Borders, who place themselves in dangerous places to help those in dire medical need.

Like my shop? Follow Tattooed Sister's on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter and stay tuned for my website at www.tattooedsistersantiques.com for more 'assorted whatnot'' - it's a work in progress :) Two hands, one house, a full time job and just 24 hours in a day make for slow progress sometimes.

Know someone who likes old things but not sure what to buy? Consider a Tattooed Sister's Custom Gift Certificate for an any-occasion gift.

About

Tattooed Sister's looks ahead in 2018 - watch for new items each week!

Tattooed Sister's Antiques is lovingly dedicated to my mom, Sylvia, who passed in 2013 at age 95. One of Mom's favorite things to do was "pokey around" in an antique shop; she gave me my love and respect for all things old.

My mission is to re-home antiques where they will be appreciated and preserved. I believe in doing what I Iove and along with it, doing my small part to leave this world a little bit better for my having been here. I call it "earning your breathing space" :) You can join me in helping others while you indulge your inner treasure seeker - a portion of your purchase is donated to Doctors Without Borders.

Mark Twain said "Travel is fatal to bigotry." This is indeed true, especially when ones mind and ones heart are open. The Internet now allows people in places all across the world to interact and share knowledge. It can be an amazing tool and offers the opportunity for us to share our varied lives, thoughts, experiences and ideas. I believe we can learn a lot from one another, from the past and from the things that had a place in it. And in this learning and sharing we ultimately realize how much more we have in common than not - because no matter where you go, "people are people". That's the heart of my vision and the goal of this endeavor. I hope you will join me in my journey.

Find us on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter and visit Tattooed Sister's Antiques website for "assorted whatnot" - please be patient as the site evolves more fully.

I will gladly scout for special items for you. Comments and questions are always welcome.

We are a combination security team and cheerleading squad. Occasionally we chew something up. No one and nothing sneaks up on us. You can hear the Hound Dog Choir in full rehearsal from a mile away (no, really!)

New to Sister's, this boy is livin' the good life in retirement. We are honored to welcome him home to us!

Tattooed Sister's Antiques evolved after my Mom passed away in 2013. She was a remarkable woman and loved antiques. Her idea of a great time was "pokeying" around a flea market or antique shop and finding old cast-off things. I inherited her love of these things and have a penchant for history. In sharing Mom's last years, I found that one of a person's big concerns when the end of their life draws nigh is ensuring that their 'treasures' find good homes where they will be of use or be appreciated for some other quality.

Re-homing old treasures is my goal, and on the side I peddle a little free grammar and promote tolerance and peace among people everywhere - it's my way of 'giving back' and earning my breathing space here on earth. Visit us on Facebook and Pinterest!
