Marc's reclaimed wood pedestal is featured on a recent episode of HGTV's "Property Brothers"! The designer chose it to display the sculpture that the homeowners got on their honeymoon in Greece.

About

Handmade furniture, paintings, photos, and jewelry from an award-winning Mississippi couple. www.TaylorArts.com

Taylor, Mississippi, (pop. 322) has long been recognized as an artist community. In 1997, Marc and I were the first to turn an old turn-of-the-century house into a showcase for the work: paintings, photography, furniture, and jewelery. The setting has character. The art is stunning. People love it.
When we started we didn't have a phone, we didn't advertise, and yet we rushed to meet the demand. Folks kept finding us, driving an hour from Memphis, seven miles from Oxford, untold miles from all over. We were written up in Southern Living, Mississippi Magazine, Delta Magazine, USAToday, Conde Nast Traveler, The Miami Herald, The 100 Best Small Towns in America, and lots more. TV shows featured us. We won the Govenor's Award for Excellence in the Arts. Eighteen years later, we're still here making art, doing what we love. And, yes, we finally got a phone. We've got a website, too, it's www.TaylorArts.com. Come see us when you can. Or shop online at: TaylorArts.etsy.com

We're happy to be living the art farmer's life on our acre patch in northern Mississippi. It's not just the chickens in the yard that I get to paint portraits of or the old Delta cypress that Marc salvages to make gorgeous beds, tables, and benches--it's that people come by, love this stuff, and take it back with them to make their homes happier, too. Thanks for stopping by. Holler if we can help.
