My initial order was lost in the mail. They sent me a new one without charging me and without hassle! The glass is amazing!

Home is where your wine is...

My passion for my product comes from the experiences that can be shared when we belly up to the bar, kitchen table, or any other surface, raise a glass, and remind ourselves of the things, people, and places we love most. I love drawing from my own personal small moments or family stories for inspiration, but the best designs always come from clients sharing theirs.

The most energizing work I do is to create one-of-a-kind custom etched glassware featuring a design that is based on something important to the person who will ultimately be using it. Whether we are commemorating a special occasion like a new baby or a graduation, or we are creating the perfect wedding gift, I am at my best when I’m collaborative.

No matter if the glasses are a custom order or one of my many stock designs, my favorite thing about what I do is knowing the recipients of my product are not just getting glassware, they’re getting a physical reminder of something meaningful that they can use to toast to the occasion.

My maker story is a fairly simple one, and one that starts with family. I grew up with a mother who has a borderline obsession with serving beverages in the correct glassware, and there is no doubt that I have, in some ways, inherited her love of drinking vessels of all kinds.

I also have a monster family. It’s a wonderful monster family with many, MANY members who have all been telling me I should “be creative, make something awesome, and sell it”… relentlessly… for years. I fought them silently for quite some time with equal fervor because I simply did not know where to start. As fate would have it, a family friend finally convinced me to be a part of her annual holiday craft boutique by catching me at a time when I was newly engaged and in desperate need of extra funds to feed everyone at my upcoming wedding. When I sat down to try and figure out what to make, Josh (my fiance, now husband) suggested etched wine glasses because we happened to have access to a sand blasting booth at the time. I’m fairly certain the inspiration (and level of enthusiasm) came from the bottle of wine we were sharing at the time.

I have always been drawn to the Minneapolis Skyline as a source of inspiration for many of my creative endeavors (from writing, to book arts, to ink drawings) and it seemed like the perfect design to start with for my glasses. It grew from there to include Minnesota and other state-themed elements because I figured that I’m probably not the only one that has a profound pride for the place I call home.

Fast-forward from 2011 — I know operate my business out of my home and a small workshop I share with Josh. I've acquired my own blasting cabinet, air compressor and entrepreneurial attitude and am very much loving every minute of it. Cheers!

    Owner, Creator, Designer

I'm a closet artist who is still opening up to the world, and hand-etching drinkware is an excellent way to combine my love of creativity with my love of beverages. I (or occasionally my husband) personally design, prepare and etch each product.

    Maker, Craftsman

I am a craftsman by trade who makes medieval weapons and armor, but sometimes I help my wife out with glasses, because... you know... happy wife, happy life.
