A family of artists...

In early 2017 our family started creating our own art. The kids were drawing, the parents were scanning, then the parents were drawing and the kids were scanning. Soon we realized we wanted to bring our creations into back into the physical realm, so we started building our shop. Today it consists of 3 complete 3D printers, 1 CNC, 1 laser engraver, table saws, routers, planers, and sanders. With the proper tools, we are able to make some really cool art for around the house, and our goal with Tech Intrigue, is to share those items with you. So please, have a look around our shop, find something you like, and we will make sure it gets to you.

Frequently asked questions
My order was broken in the mail, what do I do?

Please contact us through the Etsy Messages. Provide a picture of the broken item and we will prioritize the processing and shipment of a new item at no cost to you.

What are our 3D printed products made of?

All of our 3D prints are a common PLA plastic made from corn-starch or sugar cane (unless otherwise stated). It is environmentally friendly (100% biodegradable) and food safe. PLA is robust and tough, yet mildly flexible and can stand up to some mild abuse.

What you should know about 3D printing?

3d printing is an additive process, that is, material is essentially “stacked” onto itself in a predetermined manner to form an object. Due to this, small inconsistencies can, and regularly do occur. We do everything in our power to make sure we have consistent clean prints.

What type of wood is used in our ornaments and signs?

Our laser engraved products are mainly cedar and birch. Sometimes we substitute when supply is low or hard to obtain. When we can reclaim lumber, we do, and we mill and finish it to look new.

Wooden Creations and Ornament Care

Protect the items from wet and very dry locations and they should last.

If your order states that an oil was used to protect the wood, reapplying oil once yearly is recommended.

What makes our products special?

✔ Originality
✔ Care
✔ Passion
✔ Detail
✔ Experience
✔ Happiness ☺

Why are your Etsy prices more than your Tech Intrigue website

We are truly sorry that this has to happen, but as a seller on Etsy, we are charged a premium. To post a listing on Etsy and make a sale, we incur a 15-20% hit. So, through our website,, the buyer and seller both benefit!

Please read the product descriptions. If you failed to read about our products and understand what to expect, we are sorry. Read our shop story, title, and product description. If you thought your vase was going to be ceramic when you purchased a PLA printed vase, there is nothing that I can do for you. We do not sell ceramic vases or anything like that. All of our 3D printed items are PLA.

Custom and personalized orders

A lot of our items can be personalized. This information is typically added in the "Add Personalization" check box before adding the item to your cart. If you are trying to make a purchase on a platform that does not support the add personalization feature, then please leave the personalization options in the "note to seller" section during checkout.

Guaranteed Christmas Delivery?

We cannot guarantee that your order will be delivered before Christmas. Check with your local USPS carrier to determine the last day in which a package can be shipped for guaranteed delivery. Each year this changes, so we cannot say precisely. If you pay for priority mail during checkout, your order will typically get delivered faster.
