This picture is literally worth a thousand words. Great quality, fast delivery, prompt response from owner regarding questions, and so sharp you can read the writing on the walls. The story of Gennie Pilarski lives on because of pieces of art like this. Thank you so much! ♡

Fine Art Photography Inspired by Wanderlust
My shop features home decor and wall art prints for lovers of travel and nature scenes. I'm a Chicago-based photographer that shoots with a favor of natural light and a documentary style. Some of my favorite subjects are often the most mundane caught in an extraordinary moment. My goal is simply to share those moments with others.
Inspired by wanderlust, I gravitate towards street photography, architecture, landscapes, and the documentation of urban and rural decay. Aesthetically, my work focuses on complementary colors, symmetry, the behavior of natural light, and the way light alters dark spaces. On my creative process, exploring is one of my favorite things to do, both near home and when traveling. I'm constantly looking for new places to document and time spent on my travels continues to shape my work. Inspiration comes to me in other forms as well, through music, film, books, all things vintage, and far too much coffee.
My interest in photography began when I was young and has continued on through my studies at Columbia College Chicago and into my work. Fine art and editorial photography have always been my passion, though I have experience in various studio settings for retouching, portraiture, wedding and sports photography. I enjoy all types of photography and art, but Etsy is my space for fine art and supporting the handmade community. Currently, I have only prints listed for sale but I'm open to custom orders for anything from greeting cards to gallery canvas wraps. If you're interested in something not already listed in my shop or wish to contact me about local events, just send me a message!
I hope you enjoy my view.

Frequently asked questions
Any prints you order will be on the paper type specified in the listing and will be the dimensional size specified in the listing unless you request otherwise. Different paper types are available upon request and some photographs may be available in different sizes. Standard prints are not matted, not framed, and not bordered. Requested paper types or print sizes, as well as matting and mounting, canvas prints, metal prints, greeting cards, post cards, etc., are all available through custom order. Please feel free to contact me with special requests or questions to discuss and I'll get in touch with you as soon as possible.
The acid-free archival papers I currently work with are:
Ilford True B&W
(black and white matte finish)
Kodak Professional Endura Metallic
(pearlescent look glossy finish)
Kodak Professional Endura Glossy "F-Surface"
(standard glossy finish)
Kodak Professional Endura Lustre "E-Surface"
(traditional semi-gloss finish with fine grain pebble texture)
All prints are shipped in an acid-free archival clear bag for protection and I recommend continued storing of the print in this sealed bag until you intend to display it. All prints are made using acid-free archival papers which should last a lifetime with proper handling and care. Avoid touching the print surface directly with bare fingertips and avoid direct sunlight unless UV protection is provided by your display method.
