Announcement   PLEASE MEASURE your wrist with a soft tape measure around the smallest part of your wrist, your wrist measurement is a whole size smaller than than the size of your bracelet. I need your wrist size....a size 6 wrist is a 7 bracelet.
If you are interested in Boulder Opals, please be aware before you buy them that they are not perfectly cut stones. Some are wavy, pitted and the color parts of them are in matrix. The combination of crudeness and color is why I love them so much. If you like a perfectly cut and smooth stone, don't buy them. Boulder Opals are very expensive and ones with a lot of flash and color can run into the hundreds if not more. I buy opals that blend in with my other colored stones. I try to buy the most beautiful for the money and even then I do not make much of a profit on them. The ones that are hundreds are also wavy, in matrix and are not perfect, they just have lots of flash and color.

When I have gold color elements I sometimes use a gold paint that I paint on fine silver and then I fire it. The gold is permanent unless you grind it off but it is a layer of 22 or 24 karat gold on silver. I don't like the bright gold color, so I oxidize it. I also use gold fine sheet that I burnish on the silver while it is hot. This process is called Kuem -bo. I then oxidize the piece and the gold stands out. Please beware that the gold is only a layer, the whole piece isn't solid gold. If you want a bright shiny gold look, let me know.
I set every stone and make every element. It's just me doing the work and designing each piece. The bracelets are tedious but satisfying to me when I finish. The most important thing to me is that my customers are happy with their purchases.
I sell locally so if you see that something has disappeared it probably has sold at my studio. You can inquire....I may have it .
.
Please measure the smallest part of your wrist to communicate your size. I will work the bracelet so it fits ....adding or I can make the bracelet smaller without losing any pieces from the bracelet. You can use a soft tape measure. If the bracelet needs to be made larger I will enlarge at no cost but please do not request a certain element or stone, I will work the bracelet as I see it and the space I need to fit in a piece. . Please trust me to make the bracelet work, it is usually a small space that has to be re-worked.
I will take returns on pieces that have not been on reserve for longer than a week. Please contact me the same day and I will give you a refund as soon as I receive it. I will give you three days for shipping priority and will not refund shipping costs.
I will reserve with communication for no longer than two weeks, and please don't request a reserve unless you are positive that you want it. I'm always making new pieces and I feel that reserving a piece is a definite sale because it takes that piece out of commission. I do not do layaway. I have decided not to do any special orders unless they can be easily done!! You can ask for a kind of stone or color but I cannot repeat sold items.

A beautiful necklace to add to my growing Temi collection. I love all of your designs - it is always hard to choose. Thanks Temi!

About

My workspace

I make jewelry using semi-precious stones. I have been collecting and hand picking stones for over thirty years. I use the basic metalsmithing techniques to fabricate my jewelry.....sawing, forging, milling, forming, bezel setting, and hours of soldering and finishing. I like to incorporate different finishes, I like the look of oxidized finishes and use keum-bo and gold paint on my fine silver pieces. I primarily use sterling silver as my metal choice. I use stones, pearls, rough crystals and minerals in my pieces and sometimes I use enamel.

I like designs that are sometimes edgy, organic ...feminine.
I love making these pieces and hope that is reflected in the finished piece.

I have done many shows, been in galleries and had my own gallery in Buffalo ,N.Y
I have pieces in the permanent collection of the Burchfield Penny Museum in Buffalo, N.Y . I have a home studio where I make and sell my jewelry.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I will reserve for two weeks but please be certain you want it.

I usually can't duplicate sold items because I can't duplicate stones. You may ask..... but it never looks exactly like the sold item which may cause disappointment!

The best way to insure a good bracelet fit is to measure your wrist, not the bracelet, and e-mail me your size with the order.

I don't enjoy making special order pieces...it's hard to say no...... I made this decision over thirty years ago and truly believe that it why I am still happily and lovingly creating jewelry.
