I have had to step back from any more dyeing for the moment. If you are here looking for yarn for Suzanne Bryan's Starry Starry night socks.
I have made a listing for this item BUT I have had to step back from dyeing for the time being. I have only made a listing for this item so I can point you in the right direction. Suzanne has asked another local dyer to have kits available for the Starry Starry night pattern. I am required to put in a price in order to make the listing live. But I am not able to make anymore sock kits at this time. I am putting $39.95 as the price. I believe that is what is available at the link listed below.

above is the link to get the sock kit. He is also offering other color combos.
Thank you for your interest. You will very much enjoy knitting these socks. Suzanne is doing a KAL which is starting soon. You can find here on YouTube here:

Very first hand dyed sock project

My spinning wheel, "Imogen" at work.
So... it all started with an idea for a pair of socks.... around the beginning of 2008...............
I decided I wanted to knit a pair of striped socks and I wanted the stripes to be fairly narrow, BUT, like most knitters I HATE weaving in ends, and at this point I really hadn't even learned how to do that correctly. So instead of giving up the idea, I decided I would dye the yarn myself.... and that moment was the beginning of "Tenacious Fibers" even though I didn't know it then. I spent lots of time searching the internet for undyed yarn, dyes, which kind to use on wool?, how to figure out how to get the stripes the way I wanted them. Then the day came where the yarn and the dye arrived in the mail, and I thought "Oh crap" I guess I really am gonna do this. I had invested a lot of time, not a heck of a lot of money but enough that if I didn't follow through I would get the eye roll from the husband.
The first step was to wind the yarn. I set two of our dining room chairs out in the backyard at a predetermined distance apart that would give me the yardage I needed for each color. I am guessing I walked around those two chairs wrapping the yarn around the chair backs about 40 times.
Long story short....undoubtably the most expensive pair of socks I have ever made due to the initial investment into various required tools. Even if the yarn wasn't the highest quality, and the dye job left a bit to be desired it was definitely the most fun and most exciting project I had ever knitted up to that point.
