I LOVE the vase. I just wish somehow the top didn't move around so much in the neck of the jar, so I bought some silicone, and I am sure that will do the trick. LOVELY JAR. Exquisite. Wonderful shape. Whoever made it knows something about art!

About

Hot Glass for Everyone! Classes and Work for sale :)

Terrapin Glassblowing Studio is a small, family run, art studio located in Jaffrey, NH. There are three owners of the business - Dominique, Anne Marie & James. Everyone has their role, making this shop a real team effort.

James helps to keep the equipment running smoothly and is also our website extraordinaire. Anne Marie keeps our gallery looking beautiful, manages our books, and is also our advertising genius. Dominique runs the studio by teaching classes and making our products.

We are mostly a student and rental oriented shop, with a mission of making glassblowing available to our community and beyond. The public is always invited into our studio, where we offer free tours and demonstrations. We love having groups in, schedule a visit today! We also do some of our own production work, which varies by season and is available for sale in our gallery as well as other local establishments.

We have one part-time employee, the wonderful Haley Easton. She is an art student, studying sculpture at Keene State. Find her artists page on Facebook, “Haley Easton”, and give her a like!

We currently also have two interns at the studio, Cody and Maddie. Cody has been helping us in the studio since the very beginning, although he doesn't work for us on a regular basis. He has caught the glass addiction, and he just can't stay out of the studio. Maddie is an aspiring glass artist in any form, beginning with working on the torch. She has been working hard and making huge leaps of progress with her skills; both on the torch, as well as in the hot shop.

We just moved to a new location on Hadley Road in Jaffrey, right off of Route 202. We are open Wednesday through Monday from 10-4 and closed on Tuesday. Please call the shop, or send us an e-mail for any questions, or to schedule a glassblowing class or tour.

***SPECIAL UPDATE***

We must have had some great karma building up, because we have been blessed with a brand new important person over here at Terrapin Glass.

We are excited to announce flameworking classes at Terrapin Glass with Jocelyn Brown!
Jocelyn studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and now lives in Ashburnham, MA. She has gained notability by teaching classes, and managing the studio at the infamous Fiamma Glass in Newton, MA. Check out lessons/studio time on our website for more information.

Thanks everyone!
