My sunflower mailbox is beautiful. Looks like the paint will last for many years. Very high quality. This shop was very easy to deal with, quick to respond and offered suggestions as to the house number placement and color paint. The other thing I liked was she told me immediately when she would begin painting so I knew where I was on her schedule. No guess work. I highly recommend this shop.

WOW. Even more beautiful in person than in the pics. Wish I needed more than one mailbox! Seller was also a good communicator.

Most items are shipped USPS Priority Mail. They provide a tracking address but it is not tracked once it leaves the post office. If you'd like an upgraded certified mail option let me know and we can add that to your value. Artwork is backed by stiff cardboard to protect against bending, and protected from moisture by plastic. Pastels and charcoals must be framed as soon as possible under glass.
If you would like an item gift wrapped and shipped to a different address (must be added via Paypal only) please let me know. Thank you!

A little bit about pastels....
Please note that once you receive the finished portrait you will need to frame it behind glass to preserve the pastel and prevent smudges. Some artists spray their pastels, I prefer not to do this with my pastel art.
About Pastel Paintings: One of the reasons pastel paintings and drawings are so beautifully unique is the quality of the pure color particles and how these catch and refract light. The pastel medium is a pure pigment. Pastel pigments are dry, held together with a small amount of binder, and come in the form of a round or square stick. These pigments are the same as those used in liquid paints, such as oils or watercolors. However, well cared for pastel art works from over 200 years ago are as fresh and brilliant as the day they were created because pastel does not discolor, fade or crack like liquid paints.
