When we pack your orders, we sanitize our hands and workspace with 91% isopropyl alcohol, it kills basically everything, we do this before packing EACH order. Everything is heat-sealed so if it encounters anything in transit you know it’s safe. You can wash the heat-sealed bags in some hot soapy water before opening them. And of course we always recommend washing your beads with hot soapy water when you get them.

Clips can be washed as well if you need to, but be sure to blow dry them to get all water off.

Cord and wood are best sanitized with UV light (so put them in the sun for a day).

As we now heat seal pack all of our products we can accept returns on products still in their original packaging. You will be responsible for all return shipping costs. We can do custom color beads and the minimum quantity is 1,000 beads of each individual color, shape, and size, e.g. 1,000 12 mm Pantone 149-C. Individual bead cost is reduced for custom color orders. While the minimum order quantity is 3,000-5,000 of that color, we will cover the other quantity. You will only be responsible for the first 1,000. Custom focal beads, printed beads, and custom shapes will also incur a mold cost ranging from $600-1,200.

Frequently asked questions

Wood Conditioning and TBalm

We condition our wood with a mix of organic oil (jojoba, olive, or coconut) and beeswax that we call T-Balm. Our T-Balm has no gluten, casein, corn, soy, sugar, vinegar, GMO products, yeast, parabens, latex, preservatives, petroleum, coloring, or perfumes. It's just pure oil and beeswax. The beeswax has been boiled long enough to kill botulism -- however, it is still always a risk as are any items with beeswax or honey products.

If you are unsure, just ask for a non-conditioned ring and we'll send it bare then you can use plain coconut oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil to season it.

Our conditioner is completely safe to use as a lip balm, diaper balm, wood conditioner, skin conditioner, and more.

We do not condition our beads.

Hole and Cord Specifications and Assembly Instructions

All of our beads have a 2-2.5 mm hole and work best with 2 mm cord. In order to fit the cord through properly hold a lighter flame to the end of the cut cord for about 1 second then roll it between your fingers to seal it and make it "hard" and no longer able to fray. This melts the fibers together. Then you can thread the cord through the beads or clasps. Once you are done and have your clasps on and you make a double knot, melt the knot a bit and roll it to firm it into a solid ball. That will prevent it from coming apart.

You are 100% responsible for all customs, import, and duty fees. We are not responsible for any fees.

Shipping Insurance

Our first class packages are NOT mailed with insurance as that would be very cost prohibitive. If you want insurance on your package it will ship priority and we will do that and will invoice you for the additional shipping and insurance. Cost is generally $7-20 for domestic US parcels and $25-48 for international parcels. You MUST contact us first to arrange for insured packages.

Note that we may insure certain packages based on value at our own cost (generally any package over $100).

Returns and Refunds

As we now heat seal pack all of our products we can accept returns on products still in their original packaging. You will be responsible for all return shipping costs. Once we receive the items and can confirm their status we will credit you for your purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee. Shipping will not be refunded.

If you are in the EU you agree to abide by our refund and return policy due to the nature of our products.

Safety and Certifications

All of our products have passed FDA compliance, CPSIA compliance, they are BPA free, lead free, phthalate free, heavy metal free, have passed all standards for the EU, Australia, Canada, USA, and California. See our certs at http://cert.teslababy.com However, you are responsible for testing all items you make with our supplies. We are a supply company, our supplies alone, and their certification, does not certify your completed items.

Processing and Shipping

We try to process all orders within 2-4 business days (not counting the day you order or weekends or holidays). We ship most orders via first-class USPS, which usually takes between 3-5 days to get to domestic addresses or 7-21 days to international addresses. Any orders over 16 oz are shipped USPS priority. All wood products are shipped in boxes to prevent breakage. We insure packages at our discretion, but you can always request that we purchase insurance and we will invoice you separately for that.
