About

Long-Arm Machine Quilting and Hand Made Quilts

I began my machine quilting business with my first Gammill Long-Arm quilting machine in 2001. Now I do both hand-guided, free motion quilting, as well as digital, computer guided quilting. I enjoy quilting for others and seeing their pieced creations turn into finished quilts. I also enjoy creating my own quilts. I am particularly fond of landscape quilts. I have never been able to draw or paint, but with a needle and fabric I can create a beautiful piece of art.

Welcome to Tessasquiltshop and thank you for visiting! I have been making quilts for more than twenty years now. I have also taught quilting classes and worked the floor in our local quilt shop here in Wilmington, Vermont.

In addition to piecing quilts, I also offer machine quilting services in my home studio. I have two long arm quilting machines; one is strictly hand guided and the other has a digital quilting system attached. The best of both worlds!

Additional policies and FAQs
I love to do custom quilts. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Pieces can be machine washed with cold water and a gentle soap. Drying flat is most recommended, although a delicate tumble dry is okay. Limiting washing, as well as heat and light exposure, will help to prolong the life of the piece.

I use high end quilt shop quality cotton fabrics. All fabrics have been pre-washed. Reasonable wear is expected with items that are used. Fading can be expected if item is continuously exposed to sunlight.
