About

*** Closed the brick & mortar store and back to Etsy & more art shows, happy again *** :-)

My interest in photography and digital art begins in the 1970's when I was working to complete my degree in Computer Science. The constant barrage of science and math classes pushed me to look for an artistic outlet. So, I took a couple photography classes and was hooked! I purchased a 35mm Canon AE1 SLR and began to process & print Black & White film in my makeshift bathroom-darkroom. Sadly, it's very difficult to make a living with photographic art so I began my IT career in 1978.

Fast forward 27 years to 2005 and after raising a family and working various IT jobs I began to get serious about my photography again. I took several classes and began self study raising my knowledge of the new world of digital photography. Of course, I was very comfortable with the new digital technology and now thoroughly enjoy both my time in the field and post processing with photoshop. Many people don't realize that when you shoot JPEG pictures with your camera, it, along with your print shop of choice are doing all your post processing for you. If you master your technical skills with a camera and photoshop you can produce some amazing artwork with few limitations.

Over the years, I have experimented with many techniques of post processing. Most often, I produce prints which are quite often thought to be paintings made the traditional way giving a feeling of depth and dimension. However, I don't stop there and have tried many other non-traditional methods.

So now, I begin my new journey of getting back into the world of on-line, internet sales (I first tried Etsy in 2011). I closed my rather successful gallery in Bandera, Texas after two years because it was taking too much time away from my creative process. Now, in November of 2016 I will begin to to show my work here on Etsy and hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did creating them...

My background is Computer Science and after spending many years making a living in that field, I retired early in 2005. I began using my photography skills, much of which I learned while in college, to begin my new career and enjoying every minute.

Payment
I appreciate prompt payment and when I receive it, I will process your order in my studio quickly, usually within 1-2 days. If you send a check as form of payment, we will ship your item when it clears the bank. You can call me @ 210-367-6275 if you do not wish to use a credit card on the internet. For quickest processing simply use PayPal, it is very secure and easy to use.
Shipping
I carry very little inventory and produce almost every print in house usually within two days. We normally use USPS and ship within two days of producing the print giving it time to thoroughly dry (high quality pigment inks need this). If you have a rush request, please contact me and I will do everything possible to make it happen.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds for any reason are taken within 15 days of purchase. If you do not like your print, we will refund your payment less the shipping cost and $5 restocking fee.

If your print is damaged, I normally include insurance on higher dollar orders when shipping so we can recover the cost.

Frequently asked questions

Wholesale availability

I have done wholesale work for certain businesses. Contact me for additional information. Less expensive materials can be used to reduce cost for larger orders.

Custom and personalized orders

Yes, I often do custom work. Simply contact me and we can discuss your particular needs.

Care instructions

Keep prints out of direct sunlight to preserve their deep, rich colors and prevent fading.

Are the prints framed?

Satin paper, canvas and adhesive fabric prints are not framed. The canvas wrap prints have been stretched and can be hung "as is" or you could add a frame.

You can contact me with special request if you'd like prints mounted on a backing board (ready to insert in a frame) or framed.
