Turning previously-loved clothing into new treasures and keeping fast fashion out of the landfill

This really started because... I'm a packrat. I had this old shirt of my mom's and it sure didn't fit me (she was tiny, I am not) but it was cute and had memories attached to it. I decided to cut it up and reassemble it as a little tote bag and within months all my friends and family had a T-shirt tote bag too. Since then I've realized that fast fashion is contributing to the decline of the planet and by repurposing some of the clothes that would otherwise be dumped in a landfill, I can do my own little part in helping save the Earth. I also want to give other people the joy of giving a once-loved and treasured article of clothing a new life and purpose!
