I love all sorts of art and design, but I especially love pieces that feature reused, recycled, or found materials. I also love beer.
After traveling abroad for a semester during college, I came back with a collection of beer bottle caps as cheap souvenirs.
Shortly after returning, I first heard about Tom Szaky and his company Terracycle that was up-cycling used packaging and consumer "waste" into a variety of awesome products.
The idea of up-cycling my bottle cap collection into something more useful and interesting seemed like an interesting challenge. The first piece I made was a table out of an old door featuring the CU Buffaloes logo. Legend has it that it's still around somewhere in Boulder. After that I was hooked and The Art of Drinking Beer was born.
All work is completed by hand without the use electric tools, and with the exceptions of glue and sealant, all materials are salvaged or found.
Thanks for looking and drink a beer!

I love all sorts of artwork and design that feature reused, reclaimed, recycled, or found materials. I also happen to love beer and be a pack-rat of sorts. The idea of up-cycling my bottle cap collection into something more useful seemed like an interesting challenge. I ended up enjoying it thoroughly.
