This necklace is gorgeous, got to me soooooo fast, and the seller was an absolute joy to work with. She collaborated with me on the colors, she was endlessly patient, she sent tons of pictures so I had a clear idea of what exactly I was getting, and I am so, so happy with with finished product. Thank you!

About

Art is a passion of mine that began with crayons in Pre-K, and continued straight through to my BFA. I Hope to share my love of art with you!

I started my shop in 2010 selling a few pieces of my artwork. After my daughter Alexia was born in October 2011, I became a most-of-the-time-stay-at-home mommy! Finding Etsy has really allowed me to balance out my "mom life" and having my own business creating items that I truly love.

I have continuously added more pieces to my collection over the past few years. Most recently I have expanded to include my art and designs showcased on great items like pillows, totes, shower curtains and more. I create the art and design how it will look on the products, including placement. Then, with the help of an outside production studio based here in the USA, your items are created by hand with great attention to quality, safety and minimal environmental impact. They ship directly from the production studio so you receive your item as quickly as possible.

I also decided to bring some of my jewelry to the shop too, as beading has been a long time passion of mine. I have found even greater enjoyment with my creations and also get to share my pieces with so many more people than ever before.

I love paints of all mediums ( oil, acrylic, watercolor) and also enjoy drawing in pencils, charcoal, pen and ink, and pastels. While much of my artwork doesn't necessarily focus on representing one particular subject or staying within a strict style-- I do find that my love of bright colors and bold lines has influenced the body of my work greatly. I'm always experimenting with new ideas, subjects, styles, and mediums -- I love collage, printmaking, jewelry making as well!

Thank you for reading my story and visiting my shop :) I hope you find some things you love! I am always open to commissioned works, so please feel free to convo me if you would like something special created just for you!

Payment
Currently I accept paypal and direct credit card payment. All payment is due within 5 days of purchasing your item. If you would like to cancel your order, please let me know within the 5 day period and we can do so without any penalty on your part. If I have not received payment after 5 days, or received any communication from you I will cancel the sale and relist the item. I also will consider trades for items if you are interested! Please understand however that I am generally looking for pretty specific types of supplies and items so no disrespect to your shop if I decline! If interested in setting up a trade, you must activate the "other" method of payment in your shop, and please send me a convo! Thanks!
Shipping
I currently am shipping worldwide. Despite recent US shipping increases, I try to maintain low and shipping rates. If there is every more than a $2.00 US descrepency between the rate you are charged and what it costs me to box/package and ship your item I will be glad to refund you the difference. Once payment is received I will ship your item the next business day.

Typically all artwork is shipped flat, with proper reinforcement to not allow any bending. If you are purchasing a LARGE painting, the item may have to be removed from the stretchers and shipped rolled. I will usually specify this in the listing. This is so that your painting does not arrive damaged. If you have any questions please convo me prior to placing an order so that we can discuss and resolve any concerns. If you would rather a large painting be boxed and shipped flat we may have to adjust the shipping rate to accommodate.

I generally always use UPS, Fedex, or USPS with tracking, depending on what will be the cheapest and quickest. If you would like to expedite shipping, please convo me so I can adjust the shipping rate for you.

Shipments are NOT insured against theft or loss by the shipper. If you would to add this service, please convo me.

International packages: YOU are responsible for the customs fee/ duties that you might incur when a package is shipped or imported into your country! This will likely be charged to you at the post office in order to pick up your item. Please note that I do NOT pay these fees and the fees can vary widely by country, the package weight, or contents.

If you are unsure of your country's import/ customs fees, please contact your local postal service prior to placing an order. Please note I will NOT accept returns if you choose to not pay your import fees!
Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final on pillow cases, tote bags, shower curtains, tapestries, clocks, rugs, fabric by the yard, duvet covers, and all other printed fabric items. The ONLY exception to this rule is if the item arrives damaged or defective. These items are custom printed to order for YOU and made for you when you order. Please allow 7-10 Business days to have your custom fabric for your item printed, and the item to be made before it is ready to ship! Please note that this means most custom printed items will arrive in 2-3 weeks total from the date you order. I cannot expedite the creation of these items, as the fabric printing almost always takes 7-10 days and generally I don't keep excess fabric in my studio. I can however expedite the shipping to you if you would like. If you are interested in a shipping upgrade, please email me!

If you have any questions at all about the colors in the designs, the size or texture of the my finished products or if you would like up close detailed photographs etc, please email me prior to ordering! I am happy to provide as much information about my products as possible before you decide to order. Please understand that when printing fabric especially, sometimes there can be slight variations in the colors you see on your monitor and what colors print. If you have any questions about this, please email me before ordering! Again, please feel free to ask ANY and ALL questions before ordering, as I cannot return or exchange these items once the fabric is printed! If you order a custom printed item, you have 24 hours after submitting payment to let me know if you need to cancel or change your order! Thanks so much for your understanding!

I accept returns on Jewelry and artwork within 7 days of your order being delivered. I must receive the item back, in its original condition before I will issue a refund. I will only refund the purchase price for the item, not for the shipping costs. You will be responsible for the return shipping if you choose to return.

For Jewelry Purchases:

I use silver/gold/antique brass plated chains and findings to keep the cost low for you. This means there is a thin layer of the metal adhered over another type of non-specific metal (generally brass0. The coating or plating can wear or fade over time. This is normal behavior of this type of chain. If you would prefer gold/silver FILLED chain, i.e. solid-- please note this to me in a custom order. This will raise the price of the item significantly, and I will likely have to special order the chain for you, so it may add some additional time for me to get it shipped.

If you are sensitive to metals in jewelry, I would suggest 14K gold or sterling silver filled chains and findings. Again, this will be significantly more, but I will be happy to special order the supplies needed for you. Please let me know if you have any questions prior to placing an order, once the order is shipped it is non-refundable.

See "Jewelry Care" Section below for some tips on how to keep your plated jewelry looking like new!

I have a diagram showing common necklace lengths to help you determine how long we should make your piece to have it fit perfectly! Please send me a convo if you have any questions about jewelry purchases!

For Artwork Purchases:

Please let me know if you have any concerns about the exact size, or would like additional photographs of pieces prior to purchasing. Please note due to changes in monitors and different lighting etc when photographing artwork, colors may vary slightly. If there is ever a concern about your piece once it is received, please convo me and we can always find a solution to any problem if one arises!

Thanks so much for taking the time to read the fine print! If you have any questions at all, please feel free to convo me! I always want to make sure you are satisfied with your purchases from The Artwerks, I will always try to do everything to make your purchase a great one.
Additional policies and FAQs
::::::::::: Jewelry care ::::::::

I offer costume/fashion jewelry and therefore it needs special care to ensure a longer life span (however, it will be much limited then fine metal jewelry and they'll eventually tarnish over time and wear). Please make sure you acknowledge the nature of my jewelry before purchasing.

Simple steps to keep your jewelry in good condition:
✺ AVOID any contact with water/lotion/perfume/sweat - the chains can get tarnished/fade if you leave them wet or moist - this is critical to prevent damage
✺ Clean the piece after use with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and natural skin oils that can damage the metals;
✺ Lemon Juice is known to brighten raw brass; We suggest lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to brighten plated chains;
✺ Store jewelry away from sunlight and if possible in a jewelry box while not in use - direct sunlight can discolor the piece and oxygen is known to oxidize almost everything on earth.
✺ The climate and how often you wear the pieces will also affect longevity.
✺ My stretch bracelets fit my 6 inch wrist as shown. The jeweler's elastic is strong, but I recommend rolling the bracelet on and refraining from letting it sit in excess heat or cold or shooting it like an elastic.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to request a custom order. I am here to assist you with anything you need!
