This item is exactly as I ordered. Great quality and a nice light shiny fabric. Sherry was great with the custom color I ordered. Very good communication and good delivery time. I wear a size 1x and this chemise fits nicely. Very happy with purchase.

Pretty pretty pretty!! The chemise alsonworks well as a gauze blouse that i can wear under some of my sleeveless summer dresses. I love it! I am considering havong another one made--very good quality and meticulous hand-made sewing :)
From Cosplayer to Crafter
My work with crafts began with a desire for a hooded cape and a LOT of help from my mom. I always loved to play dress-up, and I pretty much NEVER grew out of it! I still try to come up with some new costume each year for upcoming conventions, and there is always room for improvement in my garb for RenFest... and, of course, I find any other excuse to dress up and run with it.
After many years of putting together costumes for myself, my parents [mostly my dad] suggested I try and sell my work. Though I really don't remember when Etsy became an option for me, clearly it came to be, and I have my dad to thank for it, with his constant (and perhaps a bit on the generous side) praise and encouragement. It didn't truly become a "shop" for me until after I got married in October of 2010, though; it was my perfect opportunity to try this "for real" since (a) I would have otherwise continued to work at Walmart (ehhh...) and had to go through the hassle of transferring to another store when we moved, and (b) my husband was very supportive and happy to be the only breadwinner for as long as we could afford it. Thank goodness, by the way, because I'm a bit of an introvert and easily flustered, so retail... was NOT for me, as it turns out.
I have yet to build up a true inventory, as things still haven't quite settled in: two crazy moves to a new place, adventures in cat/kitten rescue, back-to-back-to-back DW scarf orders, and now a baby on the way have kept me quite busy.
Over the years I've been "in business," I have branched out to sell more than just sewn goods. Cross-stitch was always a hobby of mine growing up (and still is), and recently I've considered some possibilities on that front, but knitted goods have definitely become a big part of my shop... which I only just learned to do in the last year or so. But how I began knitting is another story entirely... ;)
Owner, Maker, Designer
First of all, I am a wife & mom (and rescue mom of my sweet, crazy kitty Liz ;)). Second, I'm an avid crafter and have very eclectic tastes in all things. My hobbies, therefore, range far and wide, making things a bit chaotic at times...
Any time there is crafting to be done - especially sewing, and even more especially when there is fabric pinning and cutting to be done - Liz can be found near (or on top of) the action.

Additional policies and FAQs
Also, because I understand that a customization inquiry doesn't always end in a sale, I do not start cutting fabric until after a listing is purchased. So, if you need your item by a certain date, please purchase as soon as you've decided so that I can get to work on your item! :)
