FAQ's

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE TRACKING SAYS MY PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED BUT I DON'T HAVE IT?
~ YOU need to contact your local Post Office or speak with your mail carrier and let them know that a package addressed to you was misdirected. Hopefully it was just left at an incorrect address and they can reroute it to you. I can NOT do this for you. I've tried and there is literally nothing I can do to find your package. I STRONGLY suggest insurance on packages over $35.

WHAT IS THE HOLE SIZE OF THE CZECH GLASS BEADS?
~ Unless otherwise stated in the listing description, the Czech beads have a hole size of approximately .8mm. Some might be slightly bigger and some slightly smaller. Most of the beads will fit on a 21g head/eye pin and all should fit on beading wire. Some of the leaves and flowers may require a thinner gauge head/eye pin (22g - 24g).

WHAT IS THE HOLE SIZE OF THE LAMP WORK BEADS?
~ Most of the lampwork beads have a hole size of 1mm-1.5mm.

WHEN DO YOU SHIP?
~ I ship every weekday and some Saturdays. Most orders ship next day. Orders placed requesting Priority Mail will ship the same day whenever possible.

If for any reason I can not ship your order timely I will message you with the reason. If I will not be shipping on specific day or days, I will post a message in the shop announcement letting you know.

DO YOU REORDER OUT OF STOCK/SOLD OUT ITEMS?
~ If the item is popular I keep it in stock whenever possible. I place orders to my suppliers weekly! Sometimes an item runs out before I have a chance to reorder. If you see something you like, but I don't have a large enough quantity, or there is an item that you purchased in the past that is sold out, please ask! I may have it on order, can order it for you, or might have some in my personal stash that I can sell you. Just let me know what you need and I'll do my best to get it for you quickly.

CAN YOU DISCOUNT THE SHIPPING RATE?
~ Unfortunately no. I only charge what I need to cover my shipping costs and fees related to shipping. Etsy now charges a commission on shipping fees so those fees are incorporated into what I need to charge you. I do offer a flat rate shipping fee to make it easier for you to order more without increasing your costs.

DO YOU PRICE MATCH?
~ Yes, I will do my best to match a competitors price on a bead or findings. If you find the exact same bead elsewhere, send me a message with a link to the product. When I compare their shipping rates, quantity and bead I will let you know if the price can be matched. Be sure to compare shipping too! Sometimes they offer a cheaper price on the bead but their shipping rates are higher.

If you have any questions about a product I offer, or would like to see another bead or finding in my shop, please let me know. I will do my best to find it for you. I do NOT make the lamp work beads in the shop. I do however search out interesting designs, the prettiest I can find and offer them to you at a competitive price.

Bulk Orders are welcome. If you need a larger quantity than what is shown, please contact me... especially with the findings. I will do my best to accommodate your needs and frequently offer a discounted price for bulk orders.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations are not accepted once an item is shipped. Cancelling an order is an inconvenience to the shop owner as fees and time to correct inventory are necessary. Please place your orders carefully.

RETURNS: Please notify me if you are unhappy with an item and wish to return it. As soon as I receive the merchandise back in salable condition I will refund the purchase price of the goods. Shipping refunds will be subject to my approval, but in most cases are not refundable.

SALES TAX: is collected by Etsy based on your location.

MULTIPLE ORDERS IN ONE DAY: will be combined in one shipping package whenever possible. Because I offer a flat rate shipping, if I combine your orders the shipping fees on the second order will be refunded to you.

~ NEXT DAY SHIPPING EFFECTIVE 8/22/17 - Some orders may ship the same day, but typically ORDERS WILL SHIP on the NEXT BUSINESS DAY. If your order is received on Tuesday, it will ship Wednesday. I have a couple of reasons for making this change. If you need your order shipped right away, please message me to see if it's possible to get it out same day. Orders placed with Priority Mail Shipping will be given priority status.
~ Orders received on late evening Friday, Saturday and Sunday will ship on Monday.

PLEASE CHECK THE "SHIP TO" ADDRESS ON YOUR ORDER.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DELIVERY OF YOUR PACKAGE ONCE IT LEAVES MY HANDS AND HAS BEEN SCANNED RECEIVED BY MY POST OFFICE.

If your package says it was delivered and the address on your order is correct you should contact your postal carrier ASAP or check with neighbors to see if it was misdirected. While I sympathize with you, there is nothing I can do to help locate the package if it says delivered. I can not be held accountable for the actions of the USPS, included delayed delivery or misdirected delivery.

INSURANCE IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED ON PACKAGES UNDER $50. HOWEVER, YOU CAN PURCHASE INSURANCE AS A SHIPPING UPGRADE WHEN YOU CHECKOUT.

I have had issues with customers who have moved and not changed their address. Etsy stores all the addresses you've used in your profile. When you place your order make sure you've selected the appropriate address. Clear any old or incorrect addresses from your profile to prevent errors. It is your responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address. If an order is returned to me for an incorrect or undeliverable address I will refund the purchase price of the goods but not the shipping. You will have to repurchase the merchandise if you want it reshipped.

I provide tracking numbers and delivery confirmation on all US packages. If I have confirmation that your package was delivered to the address on your order I can not be held responsible for the misdirected merchandise. Check your address carefully!! Please!!!

Once the shipping label is prepared you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number. All packages are shipped USPS First Class Mail, unless we make other arrangements.

I print my labels (vs. handwritten), make sure the zip code includes the extra 4 digits and take my packages to the Post Office to insure they get out as quickly as possible. I make at least one trip, sometimes two trips to the post office in a day. Unless you want overnight delivery, the standard USPS First Class Mail should get your package to you within 2-4 business days. The closer you are to CA, the more likely you are to get your package in two days. SHIPPING UPGRADES are available at checkout. You can purchase insurance to cover loss or damage of your package, signature required, or priority mail. I will not include insurance on purchases under $50 unless you've paid for it. In most cases it's not necessary, but with large orders or if you live in an area where theft is possible, you may want to purchase adequate insurance to cover your purchase.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: -- I AM OFFERING LIMITED INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AS OF 12-6-16 -- There have been several packages delayed and two not delivered which caused hardships for me and the customer. If you are willing to incur extra fees on top of the already high International Postage fees, you may contact me to arrange purchase. Otherwise, I'm sorry, I can not fulfill your order.

Some International Buyers may incur additional fees or duty taxes upon delivery. These charges are regulated by your country and are not included in the prices or shipping of my listings. I put a great deal of effort into taking photos and editing them to accurately portray the colors and design of the beads. The photos are the property of The Bead Bungalow and may NOT be used in any way without my express written permission.

Photos taken represent a sampling of the beads available. The actual items you receive will be similar (same bead/style/color/design) to the beads in the pictures, but may not be the exact beads photographed here, unless otherwise stated. All of my beads are high quality and I would not send you any bead I would not work with myself. I make jewelry and understand the importance of quality beads in your designs.

Photographs are taken indoors with indirect lighting and from different angles to show you all the details of the beads. I do my very best to describe and portray in the photos the true colors of the beads. Please bear in mind that computer monitors differ from one to another so the colors may seem lighter or darker than the actual product. If you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it within 5 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping), or for exchange. If you have any questions about the color of a bead, please feel free to message me. I can take additional pictures with other beads to show you a color comparison.

Frequently asked questions
What is the hole size of the Czech Beads?

I am in the process of updating all my listings to show the hole size and it will also tell you what gauge of pins, wire, elastic or cord you can use with that bead. It will take me a little while to do this because I have many listings. In the mean time if there is a bead you need to know details about, just send me a quick message and I'll respond quickly.

Generally, most of the Czech glass beads can be used with 21g or thinner pins, .8mm elastic and .19 inch beading wire. Bead wrapping wire of 20g will also work on most of the beads. The smaller ones might require a 22g wire or pins. Some of the rondelles can be used with 1mm leather cord and 18g. wires.

When do you ship?

I ship packages daily Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays. I ship most orders the day after the order is received. This gives the buyer a chance to make adjustments to their shipping address or possibly add to the order. I found that shipping the same day created some issues and it was best to delay the shipping just a bit. If you need your item shipped the same day please message me.
