Well, it's official. Selling part of my gem and fossil collection to try and fund a house. Of course any sales I make will go to that as well, but this is part of my personal collection, my hand chosen pieces to inspire and amaze.

The Life of a Creator

The Bead Muse is mostly my business. It started around the same time we started our family.
It all began when we moved into our first apartment together, and I was packing my house. I had been collecting beads for so long, rescuing them from broken jewelry and necklaces, storing them in film canisters and recycled pill bottles, that I did not realize how many I had! We began organizing them and purchasing findings and tools.
I tried to find work, and my husband and I had been married a few months when I found out... we were expecting a baby! My knee injury prevented me from getting out very much, so at about 5 months pregnant, I began making jewelry. I was intrigued, and I couldn't help but continue finding new techniques, learning from my mistakes, and growing. Sometimes the mistakes became prettier than the original design!

It has been six years, and my passion for creating has not abated. I have found a love for Chainmaille, feathers, leather, and wire wrapping as well. I recently delved into the art of sculpting with wire. I love sculpting, and doing it with wire was a welcome challenge! So I have been creating wire trees, with gorgeous base stones, and semiprecious gemstone foliage.
I also have been creating some beautiful suncatchers from wire wrapping, chainmaille, beads, vintage Chandelier crystals, and any combination thereof!!!!
My favorite part of making art is creating pieces that are made for the customer, and are one of a kind. Custom Orders are always welcome. I take pride in my work! You may see one of a kind creations that have been custom ordered by clicking this link:

I love my craft, and pride myself in providing great customer service.
I would love to do business with you!

Born a California girl, my parents moved me to Texas long before I could remember. I was two! I was raised in Texas and began making art as soon as I could hold a pencil. Thus began my affair with creating things!
