Quality dried and preserved flowers shipped with care.

The Blaithin Blair Shop started on Etsy in 2007 making this one of the oldest and longest running stores on Etsy. We have spent 14 years perfecting the art of supplying the best of dried flowers. We pride ourselves in having the best quality dried and preserved flowers and Etsy. Our reviews speak for that!

Over the years, my products have shipped to customers around the world and have appeared in major publications such as Southern Living and Victoria. I also recently expanded the business to a standalone website. My Etsy shop has earned thousands of favorites and even a feature on Etsy’s blog! Excellent reviews from so many satisfied customers attest to the effort and care that go into creating and delivering my products.

As a forester by education and a farmer by experience, I have spent the majority of my waking life outdoors. Needless to say, I love the natural world! It’s a blessing to bring nature indoors.

My dried and preserved material comes from family farms and businesses around the country. I carefully select my sources to ensure that everything I make is of the highest quality.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Items on sale

Before returning items, please contact within 7 days of receiving your order.

No returns on fresh greenery including wreaths.

I do accept returns for artificial wreaths and garlands but be sure to pack them securely! Same policies apply.

Dried bunches, preserved and dried wreaths and arrangements, and full spool ribbons can be returned as long as they arrive in the same condition as I sent them out and in original packaging. Please return in the *original packaging* within 15 days using an insured service.

-Returns will not be accepted for dried flower bunches that have been removed from -the plastic sleeve or damaged.
-No returns or refunds on custom orders.
-Returns will not be accepted for damaged or "used" products. It is the responsibility of the buyer to file a claim with the return shipping provider for damaged items.
-Returns will not be accepted for items damaged while in storage by the customer.
-Please take care to protect your products from heat, humidity, insects and other pests!

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will provide a return label by request. The cost of the label will be deducted from the refund amount.

A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount for all returns. (This is to recover some of the postage and packaging.)The restocking fee does also apply to returns due to error in customer supplied address and refusal by customs.

No returns after 15 days from delivery date.

I am unable to provide refunds or except returns on fresh greenery, fresh wreaths, custom arrangements or wreaths, or wedding packages (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and/or custom arrangements). I try my best to give an honest portrayal of the product although, as I work with natural materials, there will always be slight variations.

If your item arrives damaged contact me within 7 days of delivery. Please take photos so I can file an insurance claim. I may require a return of the item but will replace the item(s) free of charge if contact is made within 7 days of delivery.

In cases of seller error (incorrect item, substantial size or color variation), contact me within 7 days of receiving your order and I am happy to correct this mistake. Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival in order to contact me within 7 days. Replacements will not be made after this time.

Shipping charges are not refunded for returned packages, including those un-deliverable due to error in customer supplied address and refusal by customs. A 10% restocking fee applies for orders that were charged for shipping.

Please contact the shipping provider if your package is missing.

Note: I do not guarantee arrival by a specific date. All arrival times are estimates to the best of my ability using my *typical* production time and transit times. Very rarely orders will be delayed a day or two due to life circumstances...no refunds will be made for late orders. In cases of an order no longer being needed, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Processing time varies by item. Please see individual items for estimated ship times.

Multiple orders placed within the production time of the first order and to ship the same address will be shipped together. Please let me know upon checkout if you would like them shipped seperately.

Items in the same order will be shipped at the same time. Orders containing items with different processing times will ship according to the item with the longest processing time. This includes ship by dates selected in a drop down box.

*Transit times*
Estimated transit times (after item is created!) is 2-7 business days in the USA. (Hawaii and Alaska may take up to three weeks.) International shipping can take up to 15 business days.

Free shipping is either through Fed Ex or USPS depending on location and box size.

I DO NOT GUARANTEE ARRIVAL BY A SPECIFIC DATE! All arrival times are estimates to the best of my ability using my *typical* production time and transit times. In cases of an order no longer being needed, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

I can only ship to one shipping address per order. If you need to ship to separate addresses, please order as separate transactions.

Please contact the shipping provider if your package is missing.
Any issues with shipping should be addressed by the buyer with the carrier. I will do my best to help with locating the package. I am happy to file a claim however I do not refund for packages until the claim is received. I do not refund for packages marked as delivered.


*Additional shipping information*

For domestic orders (USA):

Free shipping uses USPS Parcel Select or Fed Ex Ground for most packages. Please allow 2-9 business days for the arrival of your purchase. However, USPS does not guarantee delivery in a specific number of days(even if it says a number of days).

Shipping upgrades may be purchased upon checkout.

If you have a specific deadline or would like to upgrade to a faster service, just let me know. However I cannot *guarantee* arrival by a specific date. If your package arrives late due to a shipping provider error please contact the provider directly.

For international orders:

International packages are shipped using International First Class Mail for items under 4 pounds or Priority International for heavier shipments. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the delivery of your international package.

The buyers is responsible for checking with the custom regulations of the in-taking country to see if your items are allowed entrance. I am not responsible for additional fees that your country's custom office may impose including duties, taxes, or pesticide treatments.

In particular AUSTRALIA- your customs department has been unpredictable in my experience. Please check with them!!! Any duties or other fees will be your responsibility.

You are responsible for all duty, customs, or any other charges imposed by your country above and beyond the USPS (United States Postal Service) postal charges that you already paid. These may be due when you pick up your package.

Packaging:

All my shipments are packed with care to ensure their safe arrival. I have shipped thousands of wreaths and have only had a few wreaths arrived damaged.

I use a combination of new and clean, reused packing materials. If you prefer all new or all recycled materials, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your wishes.

I do not include any sort of receipt or invoice in my packages. You can print a copy for yourself from your Etsy page, or if you ask me to, I would happily include a copy for you.

If you would like me to include a note with a gift purchase, just let me know!

Custom Orders -
I welcome custom orders! If you would like a custom order please send me a message with desired size and materials as well as a time frame. I will do my best at creating exactly what you wished for. Orders must be placed BEFORE I create your item. If you would like a picture before shipping please let me know. I'd be happy so do so and make any minor changes that you desire before shipping.
Please understand though that I cannot except returns or give refunds on custom orders.

Custom listings - If you plan to order at least 15 items I am happy to set up a custom listings. Be aware that the shipping may be different than what is calculated in the Etsy shopping cart. The actual postage is used for custom listings and may be more or less than what is calculated in the Etsy shopping cart.

Wholesale Info -
I do not offer wholesale prices at this time but am happy to give a discount for large orders (except from November 1st-December 20th).

As I strive for happy customers, please contact me within 7 days if your purchase arrives damaged. Upon proof of damage I am more than happy to replace the item.

FAQ -
How long will my fresh wreath last?
It depends. :) Time of year is a huge factor. November-March is the best time for wreaths with cold weather. They typically last 4-6 weeks at that time. April-May is when the boxwood sends out new growth. The new growth is gorgeous! But, alas, it also wilts relatively quickly (in about a week). At this time, the boxwood works bestfor for those short term events such as weddings. I work with you to have them arrive close to the wedding date so that they will be the freshest possible. The rest of the year varies from 3-8 weeks. Luckily the boxwood dries beautifully so you can continue enjoying!

How do I care for my boxwood wreath?
If you plan to hang your wreath outdoors, no additional care is needed. These wreaths slowly dry over the months and then will either turn pale green or golden blonde depending on how much sun they receive.
If indoors, you can lightly spray the wreath just as you would Christmas greenery. This will help keep it glossy a bit longer. But I prefer to just let my wreaths dry naturally to the beautiful woodsy colors.

Does boxwood have an odor?
I have come to the conclusion that this is all a matter of taste. I find the fragrance of boxwood refreshing and woodsy. Much of the reason I like to work with boxwood is this natural fragrance that reminds me of a walk in the woods. The smell reminds alot of people of historical places such as WIlliamsburg and Monticello. However, to a few people it has a slight skunky odor. Needless to say, I can't tell you which it will be to you.
