A Photographic Mutt
I am energized by the vibrant, inspired by the melancholy, enchanted by the obscure, and obsessed with obsession. Basically, if it is somehow beautiful, I want to turn it into art.
I graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in June of 2006. Since then, it has been a non-stop adventure in the world of professional photography. My day job consists of product photography, running a studio devoted to perfecting shots of different gizmos, gadgets, and models. I've photographed weddings and parties and babies and pets. My passion, however, is fine art and experimental photography.
There is nothing as exciting as heading out for a photo adventure, loading my Polaroid SX-70 with Impossible Project film, light painting in the pitch dark, or finding new ways to distort the view through my lens.
I am naturally interested in everything, and photography is my way to explore whatever tickles me at the moment. The Blue Mutt is my way to share the adventure with you!
