A very small mug. Be sure to check dimensions and ounces. Nevertheless, it was exactly what I wanted when serving a little coffee after dinner. A thoroughly delightful piece.

These dishes are lovely and the glazes are gorgeous!

This wonderful bowl came with another, and it's sublime. More than sublime. It is now my favorite bowl. With the cooler seasons right around the corner, it will get much use with soups and stews. Ample size, beautiful -- actually, astonishing -- glaze. Fantastic weight. It's a marvel. I think I will make a wild rice and lentil salad tomorrow just so that I can use this bowl. Margaret Brown is a wonderful artist with some of the best hands on Etsy. This is the second order I have received from her (the first order, I bought all of her bowls in one fell swoop!) and every one is as exquisite as the next. I think this one may be my favorite of them all Margaret. xoxoxoxoxo

Well, this is my 7th Margaret Brown piece, and every time I receive a new piece I am even more thrilled than the last time I received one. She is a wonderful, wonderful artist with lovely energy, a beautiful eye, and more talent than I can describe here. She is my favorite potter (and I have many pieces, from many artists), and I attribute this in part to her personality, which only enhances the beauty of her work. Thank you Margaret Brown. I have been dreaming of these two pieces for a whole year, and with good reason! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Pottery is her life
Under the tutelage of Andrea Van Engelenhoven at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonvile, NC, Margaret received her first taste of clay. She went on to complete her Associate's in Fine Art degree at CCCC, and then transferred to East Carolina University, in Greenville, NC. Under the instruction of both Jim Tisnado and Seo Eo, she began working towards her four-year degree. In May of 2010, Margaret earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a Concentration in Ceramics and is now creating new pieces in her small backyard studio. In her work, Margaret strives to make objects that are not only beautiful, but also functional and simple in design. She loves to wood fire to cone 10, and thinks ash drips are the most beautiful things in the world.
