Hi! We’re Breia and Ryan, the brains behind The Brush & Mallett. All of our greeting cards are designed from original illustrations done with good old fashioned pen and paper. We design cards that make us smile, and hope that they will make others smile too! Many of our cards feature Northwest inspirations, since after all, it’s hard not to be inspired by such beautiful surroundings. Each illustration is scanned and digitized where it is setup for printing.
We started this business in the Spring of 2011 as an outlet for our creative genes and to help others spread joy through hand written notes. Every card is printed, scored, folded, cut, cornered, and packaged with love in our home studio before they were sent on their merry way.
The best part about what we do is hearing stories from those who buy our cards about where and who the card is going to. It’s icing on the cake to a pretty sweet gig.
All of our greeting cards measure 3 1/2” x 5” and are packaged in a cellophane sleeve with a colored 4 Bar deep flap envelope. They feature rounded corners and are printed on a premium linen card stock that is FSC certified and made with 30% post consumer recycled waste fiber. We take pride in delivering a high quality product.

We ship USPS for both Greeting Cards and Wedding Sets.
If you would like expedited shipping or prefer another carrier, please let us know and we will work out shipping costs for you.
For International shipping we prefer to ship FedEx, as USPS does not track international packages. We do understand that there is a significant increase in cost, and if you would prefer USPS we are happy to oblige. Since we are unable to track packages or confirm delivery, the buyer will assume all liability for international packages shipped USPS. We will provide you will reciept of shipping should you need to file a claim with USPS. Buyer also assumes responsibility for any customs, tarrifs, or taxes that are required by the destination country.
Refunds and Exchanges
For Wedding Sets:
If during the customization process we are not meeting your expectations please note that we will charge a small fee for time spent. This fee will not exceed $75, and we will refund you the remaining portion of your deposits. If there is a printing error on our part we will re-do the project or will offer a full refund. If there was an error that was not caught during proofing we will not be able to offer a refund, so please quadruple check everything before it is sent to print. All requests for reprints will be an additional charge to the client.
Additional policies and FAQs
We will gladly send sample sets for $5. Included in the sample are a random assortment of invitations, RSVP cards, and other enclosure cards. These will help you to see the quality of printing as well as the types of paper used. If you have specific wedding colors, please convo us and for $1 more we will gladly include a sheet of printed color swatches as the color that shows up on your computer may be different than the actual printed color. We will number the colors to help you to get your correct match. Paper swatches can also be ordered for $. 25 a chip if included with the sample set.
We can also send out a custom sample in addition to the digital proof once deposits have been made. This will also be $5. The custom sample will have a light “watermark” to help discourage people from making their own copies, so please don’t be alarmed when you see this. It won’t be on the final copy.
Proofing and Adjustments:
Up to three digital proofs are included in your order. It will be $10 for additional proofs. You are able to submit changes and requests up to two times, any additional will fall under the $10 fee for additional proofs. We do understand customization can be a little more difficult and are willing to work within reason. For standard orders, we will send you a digital proof via email within business days from listing purchase. For custom orders, you will receive a Custom design proof in 10 business days from your design purchase. We'll help you make any necessary adjustments until you're happy with the final product. Once you give us your final approval, we'll set up a final custom listing for your costs and we will go to print. See more information below about proof approval.
This part is very important. From here out, responsibility for errors falls on you, the customer. Please carefully review the text, fonts and sizing, layout, and any other important details. We highly recommend looking over them multiple times and with multiple other people. This is a great time to get the wedding party and family involved. Once you have gone over the details and give us final approval we go to print. Remember, once you give us approval you are responsible for errors and any additional printing costs that may be incurred.

• Are all dates, names, locations, and addresses correct?
• Are all e-mails, phone numbers, and contact information correct?
• Is spelling, punctuation, and over all grammar correct?
• Are all items ordered included on my invoice and in proof?
• Have I provided the proper shipping information for my order?
