Announcement   Calm Mom Calming bottles are a tool to soothe children and get them to focus on something besides their frustration and anger. Stop tantrums in their tracks!

Glitter and small shimmering objects swirl in the bottle when shaken, causing colored patterns that then settle towards the bottom when put down. Bottles also contain an auditory factor - glass beads provide a soothing clacking sound when the bottle is rocked back and forth or shaken.

Bottles are plastic and safe for kids, and caps are firmly affixed with glue.

Common uses:
Calm down for over-excited children
Desk Toys
Party Favors
Soothing for Autism/Spectrum kids
Anger-management, kids and adults
Time-out timer (bottles are generally made with 3 minute settling time)
Tooth-brush timer (if a shorter time is requested)

Also knows as 'Time-Out bottles, Hush Bottles, Glitter Bottles, Calm Down Bottles and Sensory Bottles"

I bought five 2 oz. bottles and two 8 oz. bottles (one of those on Amazon) over the past month. All have come quickly and were packaged well. I considered making my own bottles until I saw the list of ingredients on You Tube and decided that these were well priced, carefully sealed, and I wouldn't have to deal with the mess. My family as well as others love these! I have given away two of them and plan to give away another. These are excellent for ADHD, anxiety and stress - all of which I have had to deal with in the past month with my daughter getting married over Memorial Day weekend. Thank you so much for making these!

About

Started with one, now there's a dozen on my windowsill...

I began researching these when my son was having a hard time staying calm in time-out. We needed a distraction, and I came across these calming jars made from glass canning jars. I was mesmerized!

Not being fond of the shape (too big for little hands), size and material (glass with a three year old?), I changed to a safer and lighter plastic bottle, then began slowly experimenting with different colors, combinations, and settling rates.

They became popular at my workplace, then I began making them for some moms locally. Kids love them, but I'm starting to wonder if adults really like them more, and who people are REALLY buying them for. Especially when I get a request for one in black!

I fell in love with these bottles a few years ago. The combination of colors, materials, and textures are endless. Unfortunately, everything in my house has just a bit of glitter on it now, including my husband, child, and dog.

Shop policies

Welcome to my shop! I carry both 'off the rack' items as you see here, or made to order items. I generally take two to three days for custom orders, but have most colors in stock. Remember to let me know how long you want your bottle to take to settle if the default of 3 minutes isn't right for you. I can adjust them anywhere from 1 to 8 minutes.

All items are made with love out of quality parts - no old alcohol bottles, no shampoo or used soda bottles. No sharp edges and all lids are glued on tightly. No extra charge for longer settling times.

Additional policies and FAQs
Use common sense - lids are glued on firmly and additionally have paper seals under them, but please note - this is not a toy for children under 3. Always supervise your child.

All materials non-toxic and water-based. However, don't eat glitter. It's bad for you!
Ages three and up.
