Sparking joy and comfort through crafts

My shop first started as a fun craft outlet when I moved to a new city. Slowly, my shop morphed into a full time job. Due to an autoimmune disease and chronic pain, working a normal job is very difficult for me. By being my own boss, I have the flexibility I need to take frequent breaks and schedule my multitude of medical appointments. By patroning The Cascadian Home, you are helping me be a productive member of society, something that many people with chronic pain are unable to do easily. Thank you so much!

Since I source and hand make every item, my prices are a little higher than other shops that use premade 'blanks'. So thank you for supporting a small crafter! My local fabric stores, cafes, and thrift shops, thank you!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
Unfortunately, I do not refund unclaimed/undeliverable items. I provide tracking numbers with all of my domestic shipments and I provide custom form numbers for international deliveries so that an item being lost is a very low possibility.

If an item is returned, I will refund your order minus the shipping costs. (This does not apply to customized orders.)

If there is a problem with your order, please let me know! Depending on the problem, I can ship out a replacement within a few days.
Payment is through Etsy direct checkout.
Unless otherwise requested (and upgrade the shipping), all items will be shipped USPS first class. Tracking will be included on all domestic orders. Once an item is shipped, your order is unable to be canceled.

Items will ship within a few days, depending on the customization.

Because I ship internationally, all taxes, duties, and custom fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Due to the handmade nature of my products, there may be slight variations among items, such as measurements off very slightly (~1/2"), etc. If you are unsatisfied with a product, you may contact me with a picture of it with a brief explanation and we can work something out.
