What is The Charmed Shell? Here is where the old is reborn to be used again, often in new ways, from vintage items and craft materials, to objects from nature or long forgotten baubles, beautifully combined. Many of the shells were collected during strolls on Connecticut or New Jersey beaches. Some were scavenged from collections found in thrift stores or yard sales. Many of the beads and charms were rescued from broken or discarded jewelry. The Charmed Shell becomes a wind spinner, a sun catcher, chandelier or candelabra jewelry, wind chimes, Christmas tree ornaments, or just beachy, coastal, bohemian baubles to make your spaces sparkle. No two can ever be identical because no two shells are ever identical.
Along the way, other treasures may be found - vintage collectibles, costume jewelry, old beautiful items no longer being handcrafted or produced, available here for you to display or recreate into your own artistic visions.
