5 out of 5 starsI purchased a Chantilly lace saree. The color is exquisite and it is prettier than it looks in the pictures. The seller was quick to respond to my several queries. They shipped it promptly and it arrived undamaged packaged very nicely in a linen bag which I will use to store this saree. I will definitely purchase from TheChicTale again.

Returns for Defects
At The Chic Tale, we take product quality very seriously to make sure all products shipped are of highest quality. Handwoven items can have small loose threads , threads buff or minor gaps due to loom and weaving process. There could be slight inconsistencies in design, hand work embroidery , stone work , cut work items. Since these are done via hand these are not considered defects. There could also be small differences in the color due to the camera setting
In the rare occasion, if there is an issue or defect in the item we shipped you, please send us an email @ thechictale@gmail.com within 24 hours of the shipment being delivered with the picture of the defect and we will gladly work with you for an exchange/return.
Returns for Other Reasons
If you would like to return for any other reason, we still will accept the return for exchange or store credit , as long as you notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product and the product is returned within 7 days of order date in original condition with no use and in same packaging with all tags, where the buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
A 5% service charge is applied to returns/exchanges with no product defects.

Only after the return is received and the product is confirmed to be in good condition, an exchange or store credit will be issued. Please note that shade differences and feel/touch of fabric are considered under this segment.
What are not defects
If a customer wishes to return , they will have to bear the cost of shipping the product back along with 5% restock fee or $12 which ever is higher.
Following are not considered defects :
1.The small knots/buffs/bumps in threads - these occur when broken threads are pieced together. This is not considered a defect.
2.Uneven threads connecting the border to the body are not considered defects.
3.Slubs - residual threads bundled together in tiny knots.
4.Minute gaps in and around motifs.
5.Dye 'bleeding' onto the pallu from the body
6.Loose threads in Bandhani sarees used for the tying and dyeing.
7.Color mismatch - colors are subjective, we understand & can vary due to camera setting.
