About TheChocolateWorkshop
You know that saying “like a kid in a candy store?” Well, let’s just say I’m that kid. I grew up making chocolate candy with my mom in our quaint little Louisiana kitchen. We sold our candy at my dad’s Ace hardware store and to local town grocers. Every kid’s dream, right?! Once we moved to Utah, our mommas little chocolate operation grew into a full scale chocolate factory called Touchard Chocolates. Our new Utah factory meant long chocolate hours, especially during the holidays. It also meant hard work - as you could imagine being surrounded by 1,000’s of pounds of chocolate all day would be – but I have to admit a lot of great memories were made during the time I spent working with my siblings. We had so much fun inventing and creating our specialty Southern themed chocolates, which we sold to many well-known southern retailers and local retail stores like ZCMI's, Smiths and Fred Meyers. Years later after we closed up shop, however chocolate and candy making still held an ooey gooey place in my heart! I constantly found myself thinking of new things I could cover in chocolate and I continued off and on (the normal cycle when you’re a mother of 4) to create and experiment with recipes and ingredients. To that point, I am proud to say that (in my opinion) my family recipes for rocky road, fudge and caramel are near perfection! Between all the chocolate making and selling and ordering and perfecting, I did find the time to live in Logan Utah and graduate from Utah State University. It was there I was able to meet my amazing husband and best friend, Tyler. He was in love with me at first sight of course-- first sight of the special chocolate filled egg I made him!

Care instructions
We will include instructions in your box. But here are some basic guidelines:
-Keep all of your sweets packaged until the day of your party.
-Keep everything away from direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
-Do not freeze any of your sweets.
-We recommend refrigerating your packaged cake pops and donuts until the day of your party. It is important that it stays packaged (and even kept in the box they shipped in) in the refrigerator so there isn't condensation.
-You do not need to refrigerate your other sweets, but you can if you would like to.
