My grandmother gave me my first crochet hook, after a few pointers from her and my mom I took off making, hats, blankets, booties and more.
In 2012 whole pregnant with my daughter, I wanted a doll created but the doll maker I wanted to create it had a 6 month waiting list.
I then decided to try to create my own. My dolls aren't just dolls; they are images of our youth before the world make them question their talents. THEY ARE PRICELESS PLUSH and should be treated as such.
Before the media/society tell our youth they are too fat too skinny, hair is too puffy, too straight, or you're too light or dark let's all encourage and remind them of their self worth so that they will know how amazing they are and never doubt their true place in the world.
IT IS LONG OVER DUE, WE MUST SHOW THEM THAT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY GOD MADE THEM!
Not only am I a doll creator/crochet designer but I also have doll patterns and a children's book titled,
"Sunshines Tangled Tresses"
It's about a little girl who does not like her natural kinky hair hair.
