    Our 50 year history.

    We are a small, independently owned business in the heart of the Bluegrass State [Lexington, KY USA] with roots going back over 50 years. For most of our history as a brick and mortar store, we focused on an inventory of church supplies. We expanded to the internet in the spring of 2007 and finally had to close the walk-in business in the summer of 2009. Today we offer an eclectic mix of items at many of our shops online. Here at Etsy, on occasion, we list some of our "Direct from the Artist" photography. Hope you enjoy them!

    Personally, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Horticulture. I worked in a wholesale greenhouse operation for 2 years and then retail for 20 years. I became a small business owner in 1999. Recently I returned to my interests of photography and painting. I am a certified Irlen screener. I also volunteer with the Kentucky Horse Park and the Henry Clay Estate.

    I consider my photographic style reminiscent of the Pictorial movement of the late 19th century and the early 20th century.

    All scripture used on my photo art is from a 1913 King James Bible that once belonged to a great, great uncle.

      I use them for my photo prints up to 8x10. I also use them for my film processing when I use my Nikon 35mm camera. I have always been pleased with the final results.

      These photo departments are not dedicated photo labs, but generally do quality work. I use them mainly for small prints and they are great for rush orders. I can have final approval of the product before it goes to one of my customers.

      This USA photo lab is a photo processor highly ranked by professional photographers. I use them for most all of my prints except 4x6 photo greeting cards. They also offer glossy, luster, or metallic finishes plus canvas or metal prints.

      I digitally create a template from my original photos that I then submit to this company. They are responsible for printing my designs on their products.

    Returns and exchange details
    Important Note: Please read item descriptions closely before placing an order to avoid the hassle of returns for yourself, and for us. For our records, we photograph all stages of shipping an item, or opening a returned item.

    RETURNS: Unopened and/or unused product in original, saleable condition may be returned for a full refund, or exchange, minus original shipping costs. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and requires proof of mailing. No returns accepted after 14 days. Custom items are not returnable unless defective, damaged in shipment, or contain an error on our part.

    DAMAGED ITEMS: Notify us immediately if items are damaged in shipment. Keep all of the original packing materials including the box. Photos of the shipping container and the damaged merchandise are also required. Replacements if available, or refunds if not, will be given with proper documentation.

    ASPECT RATIO

    ASPECT RATIO: The relationship, or ratio, of an image’s width to the height.
    CROPPED: The edges of the original image are trimmed to a new aspect ratio. Sometimes significant areas of the original image can be lost.
    FULL VIEW: The un-cropped, un-resized original camera image aspect ratio.
    RESIZED: An editing program is used to digitally change the aspect ratio of the original camera image as required for various print sizes. No image is lost, but there can be some image distortion.

    LUSTRE: The rich colors of Glossy paper, as well as a subtle texture that reduces problems with fingerprints. They are similar to a matte finish, but have a slight sheen without the glare of glossy and an archival life of 100+ years.
