Welcome to The Creative Hat! I love to crochet, sew and I'm getting pretty handy with my glue gun.

PAYMENTS - I prefer Paypal, but I also accept money orders and personal checks.

PERSONAL OR E-CHECKS - If you pay by check, please allow 10 days before item is shipped to you. As with any of my items, I will begin working on your item when your check arrives. Please see store banner for current custom order production times.

CANCELLATIONS - If you need to cancel an item, please let me know ASAP!! Once an item ships it cannot be returned unless it is defective and only then if you have communicated with me within 3 days of delivery.
SHIPPING TIMES - I ship First Class through USPS. In stock items ship within 1-2 business days. See my store banner for current production times for custom made items.

SHIPPING COST - I really try to charge as closely as I can to what I pay for packaging and shipping. All orders within the USA include tracking/delivery confirmation.

INSURANCE - If you would like to insure your item prior to shipping, please let me know in advance.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - I also ship Internationally to Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia... I will fill out customs slips as directed by my postal carrier but I have been told that delivery confirmation will not work outside of the US.

If you are purchasing an item and would like to me ship it outside of the US and have tips on how to make sure if arrives to your country safely, I welcome your thoughts!

OTHER CARRIERS - If you have a personal FedEx or UPS account you would like to use instead of USPS, convo me! I am happy to work with your needs!
Refunds and Exchanges
I want everyone to enjoy what I make as much I do. If you feel the item was misrepresented or is defective in some way, I will refund your purchase price, minus shipping. The item must be shipped backed in original packaging, as you received it, within 1 week of delivery. You will receive your refund shortly after you ship the item back to me. Other arrangements can me made as long as they are agreed upon by both myself and the buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs
I welcome custom, multiple orders but please allow up to 10 days to ship, although it usually is less than that! If you would like something by a certain date or day, please let me know in advance!
