What does a pack rat, who also likes to make things, do when she runs out of room?

Open an Etsy shop, of course!

I have been crocheting, sewing, building and collecting for as long as I can remember. I come from a long line of makers, recyclers, and collectors and am passing those passions on to my children as well.

My shop is my venue to share what I've found... or made... or re-purposed with all of you. I hope you find something that interests or inspires you, too!

Welcome to my shop!
Please take a brief moment to look through my store policies. It is my goal to make your shopping experience as smooth and pleasant as possible, so I'm sure you will find that most of the following is basic common sense.

Shipping
In line with my efforts to live and work sustainably, I use clean recycled packing materials whenever possible.

Orders will be sent to address provided on your Etsy or PayPal invoice, so please be sure it is up to date.

All ready-made items will be shipped within 1-3 business days of payment being received. It will usually be shipped within 24 hrs, but I try to plan for the unexpected by giving myself a 3 day window.

Made-to-order and custom orders will be shipped as indicated in the individual item listings.

🚚 Canadian buyers:

All orders are shipped with Canada Post. If you need your package delivered faster than in 3 to 10 business days, I will be happy to upgrade your shipping for an additional fee. Just send me a message and I will be happy to give you a quote.

If you live in an area that does not receive Canada Post service, there will be an additional shipping fee. Please message me for a quote on an alternative shipping plan.

🚚 USA / International:

All items are shipped with Canada Post/ First Class Mail and I cannot guarantee shipping times. Typically, delivery to the US takes 4 to 10 business days and to other International destinations it may take up to 4 to 6 weeks. Customs may also cause additional delivery delays.

If you would like your package shipped faster or with a tracking number, I will be happy to upgrade your shipping for an additional fee. Just send me a message with your request and I will give you a quote for the upgrade.

If you live in an area that does not receive First Class Mail service, there will be an additional shipping fee. Please message me for a quote on an alternative shipping plan.

📌 Duties and Taxes:

Please be advised that the buyer is responsible for any additional Customs, Duty fees or Taxes. I will be truthful on the Customs forms just as I am truthful with my customers. Please also be aware that Customs can sometimes cause delays in delivery times.

📌 Damaged in Shipping:

If an item should arrive damaged, please do NOT discard the item or packaging. If possible, photograph the damage to the outside of the packaging and to the item itself. Please contact me right away so that we can properly document and report the damage to start an insurance claim, and so you can be reimbursed for the damages.
Refunds and Exchanges
If there is a problem of any kind with your order, Please message me through Etsy’s conversation/message service. My goal is your satisfaction and I will do my best to achieve this!

On rare occasions this may not be possible. If you are unhappy with your purchase, it may be returned for a full refund, minus shipping, in the following way:

1. Contact me within 48hrs of the delivery date, explaining why you are unhappy with your purchase (i.e., wrong size, defect, etc.)

2. Items must be returned within 10 days of delivery in clean, unused, and undamaged condition.

3. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. I recommend delivery confirmation and insurance to protect your investment.

4. Once the item has been returned, the original purchase price, minus shipping, will be refunded to you and the order will be canceled on Etsy.

5. Worn and damaged items are not eligible for returns. If your item becomes damaged, you may contact me about possible repairs, but damaged items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange (If the item was damaged in shipping, see above section).


Custom Orders:

If there is an issue with the workmanship or quality of the item, I will be happy to repair or replace the item, at my discretion, when I receive a message and photos from the customer to that effect within 48 hrs of delivery.

Custom orders may or may not otherwise be eligible for return or exchange since the colors, dimensions etc. have been chosen specifically for you and may not be salable to my customer base. This will be decided on a case by case basis. Of course, I will try to be as accommodating as I can.

Custom orders are most welcome!

This is how I do a custom order:

1. You can either message me directly or click on "Request a custom order". Together we will plan and agree on the details of your order

2. I make a special listing for the deposit on your order that is equal to ½ of the total cost. When that deposit has been made, then...

3. I complete your order and make a second listing so you can pay the remaining balance.

4. When the order has been paid for in full, I then ship your order to you. And there are smiles all around!

In the rare instance that there are NOT smiles all around....... then please see the above information about refunds and exchanges.
