Beautiful, thanks so much!

One day, I turned on the Home Shopping Network
and there it was, in all it's crafty glory. This woman was showing off the latest and greatest in scrapbooking tools and supplies. It was like I was hypnotized. I couldn't look away.
At the time I was confined to my bed/recliner chair due to complications with my 4th pregnancy. I got on the phone to my husband, told him I NEEDED this stuff to keep sane while I was sitting around doing nothing. Hey, it was paper. How much harm could I do with that, right?
Have you ever walked through the scrapbooking section of a craft store? Well, I've done a lot of damage walking through there over the years. Damage to my wallet, that is. There's just something so elemental about cutting, pasting, stamping, punching out shapes, sticking stickers. It brings me back to the days of grade school. The days of sitting next to that paste eating boy and not even caring because I was just crafting my little heart out making great and wondrous works of first grade art. Surely these would be hanging on the walls of a museum some day, right?
To date, I have made more scrapbooks of my five children than I care to mention (it's a little embarassing how many books of their lives I've put together, so for argument's sake let's just say I have a "few"). I have amassed so many supplies over the years that I thought it might be fun to start up a paper crafting shop. Plus it's something that my kids like to join along in now that they're all a little older. It really makes for fun family time when we're all sitting together at the kitchen table making paper crafts. And sometimes they really surprise me with their creativity. They are often my inspiration for many of the items you'll see in my shop.
All of my items are crafted with loads of love. It would be so great if someday this could become a family business. In the meantime, though, I'm just going to enjoy playing "paper crafts" with my kids in the kitchen.

I've been scrapbooking for about 9 years. My kids have so many scrapbooks at this point that I'm going to have to rent a storage unit. To pay for that, I hope to sell some of my creations here. Because I can't stop making them. Nope, can't stop.
