I have bought various luggage tags including ramen noodle , eye shadow, and pop tarts over the past few years. The recipients have loved them. Quick response, quick delivery and a sticker, which is a thoughtful touch.

A little about me :)
Over the years my items have morphed from aprons, baby items, pillow covers, Phone cases into geeky kitsch and Travel gifts. I've loved every step of the way. My current craft is Travel gifts and graphic design.
Thanks to the support of my friends and family I'm able to accomplish all of this geektastic art in my wonderful home studio, located now in PA, all while taking care of my two little ones :) Though they are a handful and balls of constant energy I do try to take time out now and then to answer convos, post listings and of course create.
Most of my items are Made to Order so Thank you so much for your patience with made to order items, in this Need it NOW world sometimes it's hard to stop and smell the roses and I appreciate my customers and fellow artists who understand creating art and items also takes time.

The Curious Case does not use any 3rd party printers or mass manufacturer drop shippers or printers. All my products are designed and printed by me in my studio using permanent sublimation inks and dye processing. Check out my about page for more info and some FAQ.Thank you for supporting small sellers on Etsy. I am in no way affiliated with any other shop here on Etsy or variation of The Curious Case name, these similar shops do not and are not working with me in any capacity.
Please note I try to answer most convos and messages within 24-48 hours. I have two very energetic little boys now and time is sometimes limited.
All my Items are Currently MADE when ORDERED (unless otherwise stated within the listing), Production begins the day After ordering and the production times for each item can be found within the listings. Each and every case is made by my hand, in my own studio from design to assemble. Designed, printed and assembled in the USA! *please see your listing for production times.
Items typically ship Monday, Wednesday and Friday (excludes Holidays, Weekends) via USPS First Class Mail. If your ship day falls on a Tues/Thurs your item will ship the following business day. Need your item faster? please message me for a shipping quote
RUSH ORDER REQUESTS: Each and every item in my store is made to order unless stated "ready to ship" Please note I take rush orders on a case by case basis. Production times will still apply. Please contact me prior to ordering to see if the production of your item can be expedited. Selection of faster shipping speeds (first class verses Priority) does not constitute faster production, simply faster delivery of the item AFTER it is shipped. Please make note of

SHIPPING DELIVERY FAQ:
1. When will my order ship?
Please note all my production times can be found within each listing at the bottom, Production begins the day after order to account for different time zones and my working hours. In most cases an expected ship date should be located on your Etsy invoice. Often your item will ship early but this is dependent on how many orders I'm working on.
2. When will my item arrive?
please view estimated shipping and transit times (below) or found in your listing. This varies widely depending on location and time of year (holiday mail) Items are NOT guaranteed by and specific date or holidays due to postal variances. Please order early to insure delivery by the needed time.
3. Why can't I track my order?
Please remember some international orders do not have tracking beyond border in the US this information is available during your checkout and prior to ordering. Domestic shipments do have the ability to track but this is determined by the post system and often the system is slow to update, there is no way to control this is and is totally dependent on the postal employees. Limited tracking is now available for Canada and some international locations as deemed by the USPS. Please allow at least 24 hours for any electronic shipping to be updated.

What is Dye Sublimation?
Dye Sublimation, is the method of applying an image to specially coated ceramics, metals and polyester cloth, using three main ingredients: specialty sublimation inks and printers, high heat and pressure.
Sublimation ink is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. The conversion is initiated by heat, controlled with pressure and time. Hard items such as ceramic, fiber board, metals and plastics require a special coating to accept the sublimation inks
So How are your items Handmade?
Each and every item is created, designed, printed and dye sublimated by me in house. An individual product typically takes 6-12 steps to make not including design, cleaning and packaging. As a artist paints with a blank canvas my canvas is a blank cell phone case, business card case, light switch cover, coaster, luggage tag... My art ( graphic design) is printed then applied by dye sublimation, assembled and packaged ready to ship off to my customers all by my hands. My items fall well within the Etsy guidelines for handmade and hand produced items. None of my items are printed through 3rd parties and are not outside manufactured. I handle, assemble, design, print and package every single item.
Wholesale availability

How are your luggage tags made? Don't you just push print?
Each of my luggage tag takes a minimum of 8 individual steps not including cleaning and packaging. Setup and Printing your info is just one step. Each tag goes through multiple steps after setup including multi step image placement by hand and heat sublimation, I handle each tag about a dozen times before it gets to you (10 tags takes 80-120 steps!) Though I can't give you my exact process, that I've fine tuned over many years, there is much more to my luggage tag creation process other than machinery.
