Items shipped within Canada are sent via Expedited Parcel mail, which includes tracking and up to $100 insurance coverage; delivery times vary according to your location, but in general are expected to be 2-10 business days.
If you would like to upgrade to Xpresspost shipping for a faster, guaranteed delivery time (exact time depends on location), please contact me and I will get you a price quote.
In order to keep costs down for my customers, default shipping to the United States does not include tracking; unfortunately, this also means I cannot offer refunds or replace items that get lost in the mail. Basic shipping may take anywhere from 2-4 weeks.
Upgrading to air mail costs an extra $1.65, with an expected delivery time of 6-10 business days; tracking is around an extra $11 CAD for most orders. Please let me know if you would like either of these options!
If you would like to upgrade to guaranteed 5-day or 3-day shipping with tracking, please contact me and I will get you a price quote.
International shipping (outside Canada & U.S) does not include tracking or insurance coverage. Delivery times are variable, but in general are expected to be from 3-6 weeks.
If you would like to upgrade to faster shipping with tracking and insurance, please send me a message and I will give you a price quote depending on your location. Tracking is only available to some countries.
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all tax, duty, and customs charges that may be incurred. These differ from country to country and from one state/province to the next, so I cannot determine what these fees may be in advance; it is your responsibility to contact the appropriate authorities for your country if you need to know how much to expect.
I will not mark packages as anything other than sale of goods for the purpose of bypassing these fees, as it is illegal to do so.
Refunds and Exchanges
Items which are lost in transit within Canada will be refunded or replaced, depending on your preference.
I will not be able to refund or replace items lost in transit to the United States or other international destinations, unless you have purchased upgraded shipping that includes insurance and tracking. Please see Shipping Policies above.
If an error is made on my part and there is an issue with an item you have received, I will refund or replace the item and cover the cost of shipping. Please contact me within 14 days of the item's arrival to report any such issues!
If an unused item does not fit or you wish to return it for another reason, the following rules and restrictions apply:
On purchases within Canada or international orders including tracking, I will accept returns of new, unused items if notified within 7 days of the shipment's arrival that the item will be returned. It must be in the same condition it was sent in and have the original tags attached. The customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items.
I will offer a monetary refund (minus shipping) OR a replacement item of the customer's choice of equal or lesser value once the returned item arrives and it is verified to be in its original condition.
Sorry, but returns are not available on items sent internationally without tracking.
Additional policies and FAQs
A) I package my items in the most eco-friendly manner possible; most items ship in a padded mailer that is made of 100% recycled post-consumer paper content. It is very thick and sturdy, to endure even the longest trips! Shipping labels are secured with packing tape to ensure they are waterproof and don't come off. On large orders items may be shipped in a box if necessary, in which case padding will consist of recycled brown paper or newsprint.
Q) What service do you use to ship your items?
A) I ship via Canada Post. They offer the most cost-effective options for my customers in addition to excellent service.
Q) Do you offer urgent shipping?
A) If you need an item delivered quickly, please contact me and I will let you know if it is possible to get your item completed on time. Urgent shipping is available at varying prices depending on your location; a quote can be provided upon request.
Q) Do you accept custom orders?
A) Absolutely! If you have a special request please send me a message and I will see what I can do for you. I love working with my customers to create the perfect items for their pets.
Q) Do you sell wholesale or on consignment?
A) At this time I prefer not to sell on consignment, but I will consider offers to sell wholesale.
